While I do have an M1A, my better consciensce prevents me from gutting it to install into an EBR stock. Maybe someday when I can afford another I'll go this route.i agree, to tacticool for me. i simply went with a Trijicon 5-20x50 on my m1a loaded with a good shooting sling.as for my SHFT gun i would go with my rasheed or match AR.... If you took one with you to try and find supplies or whatever, it just made you a target. Someone killed you there for it or followed you home so they could come back with a gang and take it later. pista Posted January 24, 2012 Report Share Posted January 24, 2012 If you want a brand new 5.56NATO/.223 semi-auto at a lower than AR-15 price, check out the Ruger mini-14 tactical model.
