Not really sure about the details, but I was told he was either cut off or run off the road. He was on St. Rt. 40 West of Springfield when the crash occurred. Went to surgery at 12:30p to get a shiny new titanium rod and plate installed in his lower leg. Per his wife no other injuries were sustained. He will be in the hospital for a couple of nights. Because I hear the law enforcement on scene had there doubts about my version of what happened .. ha ! Oh well . It seems in this case it doesn't matter what he would think but it could have .. anyway ill be off my feet for a while .. good gear protected me from more significant injury and I recommend it very much .
