This is one reason why guns have such a bad rap. Oh, he has a gun, he's gonna kill someone!! No I carry it as a tool to protect my life and those that I love. He has a history of mental instability, depression, and a very short fuse. He can go from happy to pissed off, and threatening to kill, in seconds. Yet he has no criminal record so far.
