I Finally Got a Bike!

'83 650cc Honda Nighthawk. I know it's old, but it's my starter bike and it runs well and is in good condition. The guy I bought it from only put 240 more miles on it since the person he bought it from. I can't wait till it gets warmer to go ride! Let me know what you guys think.

Those were pretty much bullet proof & low maintenance.

The chrome is kinda fragile, so keep an eye on the front forks.

There was a service bulletin on a stator output problem,

but I don't remember much of what it was about.

I think some early stators didn't work very well.

Yours is probably ok if it's still working now.

Congrats! It looks really nice and clean. And I agree with IP. Keep it once you are "bored" or move onto something bigger. Those are fine bikes to keep in the stable.

Congrats on the new bike... My dad still rides a nighthawk, not a bad bike at all.
