Since the original trilogy I've gotten so tired of everyone talking about "the character of Boba Fett," the dude had like two lines! Turns out he sold a lot of action figures so Mr Merchandising AKA George Lucas had to give him a backstory and throw him into the new trilogy. Yeah he's so villanous and imposing, except he was killed by being accidentally bumped into and thrown into a desert sphincter. Lame. Did Lucas add a scene in the re-release of IG-88 or Bossk? Nope, because they don't sell as many action figures. Most people aren't well read on this subject and the fan worship only goes as far as "he looks cool." Did the extended universe make him more interesting?
