2nd gun out of these?

Recommended Posts

If the Smith & Wesson 380 EZ is still under consideration, Dunhams has them on sale today and tomorrow for $329, which includes a metal lock box (key not combo) to store it in.  Price goes up to $349 after Monday.  I saw it in the circular in the Sunday paper today.

They also have Remington 870 shotguns on sale for $279 (12 ga or 20 ga).   The best price I’ve seen on them before was $299 at Fin Feather in September.

Both of those "sale" prices are my everyday price...

Good to know.

Next time I’m in a spending mood, I will check with you for prices.

Ordered this kit for $349 total. The FFL will charge $20 or $10 plus 5 non-perishable food items for donation. I'm expecting the 3rd mag to be after-market, but the price was the same with or without it. (If the mag is cr*ppy, I could do reload drills with it. Just drop it on the ground. heh) The Shield M2.0 alone was going for $339, with or without the laser. The Hogue beaver tail grip that I already have, which was meant for the LC9s, fits the Shield, so that's an option. Since I got that for free, consider it part of the Shield kit and it's a merry Christmas.

That looks to be a pretty good deal.  Where did you find it?

Picked up the Shield M2.0. Planning to shoot it tomorrow or the day after. I added the Hogue grip immediately. It adds a little palm swell and feels much better in the hand. The 3rd mag is a factory original for the older Shield. I needed to sand the spacer a little to get it to seat as easily as the M2.0 mags. The light is nice, but the knife doesn't seem useful as a defensive tool at all. Doesn't matter. I can see that the rear site isn't centered and the manual states that it isn't adjustable?

My photos come out too huge! The Shield M2.0 was /excellent/ to shoot! Hitting to the left though, probably due to that rear sight. Elevation was good at the only distances that I was shooting at, which was 7-10 yards, I think. For some reason the Shield was stinging my wife's trigger finger and pinky a little. She said she thought it was better if she held the trigger back after the shot. She was killing* it with the SR9c though. I mean, I was impressed. I'd happily shoot the Shield the whole time anyway, although it seemed to have a longer trigger reset compared to the Ruger. Not a problem.

*No actual harm or death occurred.

Any of those should be fine firearms. Get the one that feels and looks best to you.

I had different requirements and went with the Beretta Nano. I like it a lot, and it fits under the seat of my Speed Triple:
