Shoei Neotec II Modular Helmet

Recommended Posts

Gone are the days when you had to send out your helmet to get a custom communication device installed. The Sena SRL Communication System (sold separately) was created specifically for the brand-new Shoei Neotec II Modular Helmet.

shoei_neotec_2_front_center.jpg

The Neotec II is a complete overhaul of the original Neotec. It features an all-new aerodynamic design and interior resulting in an incredibly quiet helmet.

shoei_neotec_2_left_center.jpg

This modular helmet gives you the convenience of an open-face helmet with the safety of a full-face helmet. In addition to a multi-position face shield, this helmet has a QSV-1 sun shield built in. It also comes equipped with a Pinlock EVO fog-resistant system.

Shoei's Neotec II has a high-quality ventilation system to provide maximum comfort. The expanded 3-position upper air intake vent allows air in while the all-new exhaust outlets expel unwanted warm air. Additional ventilation is also found on the inside of the helmet, with several funnels built right into the EPS.

The interior of this helmet is completely removable, replaceable, and washable. The Neotec II incorporates Shoei's new 'Noise Isolator' cheek pads, which deflect wind and reduce unwanted noise.

This helmet has a patent-pending 100% stainless steel interlocking mechanism, making putting on and removing the helmet quick and easy.

The Shoei Neotec II is available in sizes XS-XXL.

Oh please, I have been well informed of RD's progress on getting these helmets in. I knew their status long before you posted your drivel in this thread. If MIKE isn't available and you need to check stock on any colors or sizes feel free to ask me. In fact, I typed most of this while on the phone with him.

Early April 2019, but there won't be any changes to the 2018 other than some colors.

I think it looks pretty cool.  :dunno:. Not a modular helmet guy, but the color is something I'd go for.

MSRP $589.99 - Now On Sale For $379.99!

This helmet has an adjustable, three-position lower vent that is easy to use with riding gloves. Three upper air vents and four upper exhaust vents work together to allow cool air in and hot air out.

Included with this helmet is a CWR-1 shield equipped with Pinlock EVO fog-resistant system. The shield has innovative new ribs on the edges to help eliminate bending. The QR-E Base Plate System on this helmet not only makes changing shields easy, but also blocks out unwanted water and wind when closed.

An Emergency Quick Release System (E.Q.R.S.) is built into the helmet to allow medical personnel to safely remove the cheek pads and helmet from an injured rider’s head.

The Shoei X-Fourteen Brink Helmet features bold lines and shapes that wrap around the helmet to create an aggressive race graphic that looks great both on and off the track. It has a glossy finish with metallic details throughout the design. This graphic comes in four different color schemes: black, red, blue, and yellow/blue.
Shoei X-Fourteen Brink Helmet In Black

The X-Fourteen has several new features that make it even better than the X-Twelve. The shell shape has been redesigned to improve the aerodynamics of the helmet, including a brand new, patent-pending Rear Stabilizer. The Rear Stabilizer works to “maximize high-speed stability while reducing negative forces on the rider.” You will experience 50% less buffeting, 10% less drag, and a 3% lift reduction with the X-Fourteen.
Shoei X-Fourteen Brink Helmet In Yellow/Blue

You can customize the aerodynamics by switching out the standard rear flaps with narrower ones (sold separately). Shoei takes the customization a step further by incorporating an innovative five-stage rotating dial that allows you to fine-tune the shield and base plate.
Shoei X-Fourteen Brink Helmet In Red

The X-Fourteen’s ventilation system has received several upgrades. Now the cheek pads have a cooling “tube” that allows fresh air to enter the helmet, cooling the rider’s cheek area. The side air outlets of the helmet have been re-positioned to better allow hot, moist air to leave the helmet. Overall, the X-Fourteen has six air intakes and six exhaust outlets.
Shoei X-Fourteen Brink Helmet In Blue

A few changes have been made to the face shield and shield locking mechanism. First, the CWR-F Race Shield (equipped with Pinlock EVO fog-resistant system) has innovative new ribs on the edges to help eliminate bending. The X-Fourteen now has a double shield locking mechanism, designed to prevent unwanted shield openings while riding. The QR-E Base Plate System on this helmet not only makes changing shields easy, but also blocks out unwanted water and wind when closed.

The X-Fourteen's 6-layer AIM+ shell construction and multi-layer EPS work together to redirect impact energy in the case of a crash. An Emergency Quick Release System (E.Q.R.S.) is built into the helmet to allow medical personnel to safely remove the cheek pads and helmet from an injured rider’s head.

The 3D Max-Dry Interior is customizable with optional sizes for each section of the center pad. Made of Max-Dry material, the inside “absorbs and dissipates sweat twice as fast as tradition nylon.” The interior is completely removable, washable, replaceable and adjustable.
      MSRP $859.99
