serpentracer Posted October 1, 2017 Report Share Posted October 1, 2017 (edited) looking for a good deal on a nice tool box? check out lowes for the white kobalt box model 41PTCWHITE it's exactly the same as the stainless one they have on the floor except it's painted white. I'm pretty damn happy with it. comes with a 3 outlet power strip with 2 usb ports, a cord grommet hole in the top, ball bearing drawers and drawer liners. $199 is tough to beat at this size and quality. even the top chest from harbor freight is $299. if you like white that is. if not they have black(with blue drawers), red, lime green, stainless. all cost more though. mine just needs some stickers the lower box is a US General box from Harbor Freight. I'm not a fan of Harbor Freight stuff but these boxes are very good quality. the lock mechanism and key is cheap and flimsy. is my only complaint. the large top drawer has all my air tools and misc heavy items in it. opens and closes like silk. either one of these are surprisingly well made for their price. especially compared to craftsman boxes. as you can see on the left. are garbage compared to these. I recommend anyone check them out if you're looking for an upgrade without breaking the bank.
