Xsr900Rider Posted July 18, 2017 Report Share Posted July 18, 2017 I find that going anywhere up to 90 on open roads is not to bad but when you get on the highway in traffic then as you get the turbulent air off of semis and big trucks it beats the shit out of you over 75-80. In usually take backroads or if hitting the highway always try to find a open area to speed up into and ride until I catch the next cluster of traffic and then get in front of them in a nice open area. Doesn't always work if traffic is really thick. If I ever get the extra cash I'd like to have another bike with some wind protection for bad weather days, long rides, and riding in real cold weather. 33 degree mornings on a naked sucks bad. Dad bought a 2018 Street Triple RS a couple months ago. It's got a 765cc motor. Big fun. Too bad he got kicked by a horse two weeks ago and broke his arm, he's out for the rest of the year.
