I got to borrow a Trek Fuel EX 5 27+ from our demo fleet and hit Royalview Sat evening and Bedford Sunday am. Such a fun bike but compared to my Procaliber, felt heavy on the climbs. 27+ and full suspension really absorbs all the trail chatter! I returned the bike to our Stow location and just had to try the new Specialized Epic while there! Only got to cruise the parking lot with it, but that is a sweet ride! They slackened the geometry a bit to make it less XC and a bit more trail to help with the more technical XC courses and it felt good! Not like my Procal or the Fuel EX, but right between. They also redid the brain and it sure is nice! Bike stayed stiff as a hardtail until suspension was needed on the little bumps I could find in the parking lot. Super fun bike!
