Not quite as tasty as the SD but a bit more suited to touring.  I bought a '12 990 SMT, which is still WAY MORE GONZO than this old guy needs.

Just ordered a set of Pirelli Angel GTs from MSS and gonna slip the new shoes on the Katoom and take it on the LocalRiders fall trip in Sept.

Congrats.  I test rode a SD @ MidO Vintage Days and it can be a handful, loved the power.  If I went with a new KTM, I believe I'd hold out for a new SDGT leftover, but it's relatively the same bike
