Woke up early to go riding, the battery didn't have enough charge to turn the engine over after the trip to TN/GA. Plugged it into the trickle charger and went back inside, deflated.

Yeah. I'm fine. Had a dizzy spell and was pulling off the road when it happened. Was no more than 5mph total.

Started prepping for the out west trip today. Figured out the best way to mount the tail bag on my rear seat (it was a little trickier than i  thought)and started to figure out what I was taking/packing and where it was going to go. T minus 19 days.

Flushed the brake system for the first time. It was nice to see yamaha made it easy to actuate the ABS pump without fancy tools. New top case and rack was delivered today so I will be getting that installed tonight.

New Givi V47 trunk and SR357 rack. The Yamaha top case busted and kept cracking. This case has more storage volume and it's a usable volume.

Mounted less blocky looking sliders that aren't white with black paint.(anybody need no cut 09-12 R1 brackets made of cast potmetal)

Put  bullet connectors on the ecu wire I cut yesterday to test out the second fuel map on my chip on the ride to work. I was right seller was wrong the chip only had one map, no start.

found a crack on my sargent seat pan that was reinforced with carbon weave hydrodip.

Put a new brake light kit in my Givi box. The lights that were in it only half worked. Cracked the damn lens taking them out so new lenses will be in the future but for now just glued it.

Wasn't to the bike but Revzilla has these on closeout. Pretty damn comfy and a step up to my V1's. Got them for $37 with some zilla cash I had on my account.

My goto summer gloves are my SMX-1 so when I see the 2's on closeout I could not resist having a back up pair.

New Roadsmart 3s for the trip out west. 

New front brake pads too these probably would have been fine for the trip but didn't want to take a chance when I had a new set in the tool box already. 

My used but still usable tire collection is growing. Keeping tabs on the miles I put on them and will put them back on sometime this year to use them up. 

Also changed the oil. I little early but will keep me from worrying about doing it during the trip.  Fresh WIX filter and 5qts of Rottela T6

It takes 8 of them for the front alone. One for each caliber piston.
