What did you do to your bike today?

Polished and waxed the paintwork on the V-ROD. It was in pretty good shape to begin with but because the seat rubs the lower portion of the airbox cover, I'd say I got a solid 7/10 correction in the minor scuffs and holograms. A bike is never so beautiful as the day you sell it!

Today I removed the OEM Bridgestone Trailwing tires I had on for a road trip and I installed the Mitas E-09's for the upcoming trip on the Smokey Mountain 500 3 day ADV ride down in TN, GA.NC.

Rode to work and the rear end felt a bit loose. Just replaced the Q3 tires with Pilot Road 2s. 2100 miles out of a rear tire kind of sucks. It will be interesting to see if I notice a difference in grip.

Zrx1200 almost done. Brakes are all rebuilt, on, and bled out. Body work installed.  New battery installed. Carbs in and synced. Seat and shocks should be here by weeks end. A few loose ends to tye up and I'll be ready to take her down the road. Looks like it should be done in plenty of time for the gap trip.

Got a new seat for the Honda. Looks like it will require some frame alterations in order to fit. I'm not going to hoop it tho, I like my rear fender. Thinking of removing the rear subframe cross bracing so it sits flat and unbolting the stock seat lock.

Re-installed the original muffler. PO had taken it off and put an awful gp style turn out pipe on the cat outlet. No servo delete and no tune. To be fair, it did sound kinda cool although a bit buzzy above 7k RPM. I think eventually I'll get a new muffler because stock is too quiet.

Love the zrx, perfect blend of modern performance and old school cool. Almost bought one while shopping for my current bike.

Played a little, "replace the screws the PO left out". Buttoned up all the exhaust covers and then removed the chain guard to do a little scrub-a-dub tomorrow. PO did not maintain the chain, EVER :-0

Well that did not work how I wanted it to. How do I post pics correctly?

Need to attach them to the post, or get a direct link to the full image.   That link will end with the image type.  Jpg, gif or so on.

Like http://www.flicker.com/my pics/pic.jpg
