They are made out of leather and have elasticized inserts. A waterproof membrane prevents external water from entering the shoe, keeping your feet dry in the rain. These boots incorporate sewn-in ankle support, as well as a heel cup and shin plate for extra protection. Zippers on the sides allow you to easily put on/take off the boots. The soles are both anti-vibration and anti-slip. Reflective details on the boots allow you to be seen by other motorists in the dark.
