Baltimore Riots

Supposedly the police department has a credible source saying the three major gangs in Baltimore are teaming up to attack cops.

Is it just me or is this crap worse than the Ferguson protests? What the hell are these people thinking?

I've got a better idea instead of putting emergency responders in harms way

Pull them all out. Let the assholes loot and riot and burn all their shit down and build a wall around it and keep them caged in like the animals they are acting like. Boom instant cheap prison

I see the CVS was looted and set ablaze.  I'm fine with that - they were asking for it.  Dressed in red lettering, coming on with cheap left-over valentine's day candy and even cheaper beer and prescription drugs.  Oh, and they severed that dude's neck, so F' CVS, they deserved to burn.

Oh wait, they didn't have anything to do with it?  My bad.

Here’s the Baltimore mayors full comment when this first started

“I made it very clear that I work with the police and instructed them to do everything that they could to make sure that the protesters were able to exercise their right to free speech,” Rawlings-Blake said. “It’s a very delicate balancing act. Because while we try to make sure that they were protected from the cars and other things that were going on, we also gave those who wished to destroy space to do that as well. And we worked very hard to keep that balance and to put ourselves in the best position to de-escalate.”

You folks are blaming the wrong people. The Baltimore Police make the cleveland police look like angels. Do some digging, the history of abuse is long, disgusting and well documented.

There is a point were you do what you have to do.

I saw the 1968 riots. Those empty lots around town that are still there? 47 years? That's the buildings that burned down. Owners refused to rebuild or even to sell the land. Be careful what you wish for.

Blaming B for attacking C is wrong because A attacked B?

The fact that there are 3 rivaling gangs in the city, maybe the police are products of their environment.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crime_in_Baltimore "Baltimore's level of violent crime is much higher than the national average"

For Baltimore, we found that the violent crime rate is one of the highest in the nation, Safer than 3% of the cities in the US.

Sounds like some great training opportunities for US Special Operations to have some fun. And if the rioters and upsets folks want to really stir up things, how about attack the police stations and see what happens? Good cops and bad cops....blah blah blah, break the law "particularly certain laws" and you might just get your ass kicked.
