Really glad you got along well, looks like a great time was had. I need more time to relax on my trips, you sure can jam allot of miles in on a short time frame.

I agree i like those trips too, but we had our down time on this one as well. We spent about 4 hours with the ferrys(which was supper relaxing) and called it early a couple nights and chilled with some brews and food.

The big SNAFU of the trip for me was at the Hatteras Lighthouse. I clicked my pictures and went to turn the bike around and killed it, when i hit the start button to restart it i lost ALL power, no start, no dash, no phone or gps. So long story short after a hour in the blazing sun in the parking lot of the most well know light house in america i had to pull the battery and found a super corroded negative terminal. And as you know Brian that battery isn't the easiest to get out esspecially on the road, but we got it out cleaned up with what we had and all was well.
