That's because you don't understand what airborne means.

An airborne virus can live on its own without bodily fluids, suspended in the air for an extended amount of time.

Ok, gotcha.    Still, someone with it sneezes near enough to an uninfected person, the snot can get ya.   LOL, right?

Not necessarily. The mucous "snot" as you call it, has to get into the other persons mucous membranes, ie mouth, eyes, nasal passages. So yes it can if you have an infected idiot sneeze directly in your face while your mouth and eyes are open. Since this is not a third world shit hole with uneducated village people the chances of that are ridiculously low. Currently you are at much greater risk of getting Hiv from an escaped zoo Monkey

Yes, if within time frame and said rail and hand do not have still active sanitizer on them. I don't remember the lifespan outside body but I can look when I go back on shift Thursday.

Is the ebola a conservative or a liberal?

Just watched part of the live CDC press conference from the White House. When was the last time you saw the CDC doing a press conference, on live tv, from the White House?

When was the last time a terrifying sounding disease has become a political lightning rod?

Bird flu, swine flu, flu flu, etc...

Those weren't politicized.

Well it's roots are in Africa and it's bad for America.

sure they were

Google says 3,590,000 websites discuss bird flu and politicizing/politicized

518,000 for swine flu

226,000 for ebola

mumps and measles aren't exempt either...

TA-DA!!!

http://www.myfoxdfw.com/story/26723442/jesse-jackson-heading-to-dallas-to-help-ebola-patient

DALLAS - The Rev. Jesse Jackson is in Dallas Tuesday to make sure Ebola patient Thomas Eric Duncan is getting the best medical care possible.

======

Turns out Ebola is racist and liberal! Who knew?

Good thing a savvy media professional is there to help us better understand it all. Thanks Jesse!

Evidently a LEO who was in the dead patients apt is down sick and being quarantined.  They're saying his symptoms do not match ebola but are taking no chances.  And they're letting the dead patient's family decide whether  he gets buried or cremated.  The cdc requires the body be triple plastic wrapped, but imho, its a no brainer and I'm not sure why the family has a choice.  Seems the body should be incinerated/cremated due to the fact that even though he is dead, the body can still pass the disease to someone else.
