flipwicked Posted May 14, 2013 Report Share Posted May 14, 2013 well fat 2 fly i lied lol decided to start it now lol. ok well when i got this bike it was supposed to run so i hoped.well running is far from the truth. well now ill shut up and start with some pics.... this is the pic i had gotten i was told he was rebuilding the carbs bull %$@t 400 dollers later i had them rebuilt. the night i brought it home was like 22deg. out. i pulled the fairings off to find the worst repair job ive ever seen striping it down breaking it apart pulling the old crap off plastic welded back together lining it the body line up still got a lot of work to do to this left fairing no clue whats up with the alt my wiring night mare added wires wires broke off ( i actully need this plug it for the junction box ) and i need this plug also the other junction box plug its burnt my nice junction but it smelled a lil odd so i opened it and... this blah i need this too starting to crack into the paint and body work starting to find pin holes in tank leading and sealing hole by hole removed the white goop and repainted the alt had to show it all apart i had forgotten this subframe back on getting evertthing into prime and wet sanded yes i primed on the trash lid wife was pissed lol shell be ok small pin hole showed the primer so spot puddy sand and reprimed sample of the color sorry forgot to post this this is the welding paint skem the white area will be black a lil taste of paint i got a added touch with the gold promise wont look bad ive been an auto body tech for about 9 yrs and ran my own shop for 5 of them (long story why its closed) bike in full prime no prime on motor it sanding dust parts started comming in the end so far ill post as i work the rear sub frame got a fresh coat of black just havent got a pic yet only took and hr to post im slow lol Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Love the old school style. thanks i love the older bikes the carbs finding them is the question. there really hard to find in good shape that doesnt need work .the dip shit i got em from ran metal restorer throu the carbs and the place there at is amazing and i know there perfect.
