Looking at getting one, wondering if anyone has bought one. Looking at the ug007 dual core 1.6 ghz chip, 1 gb ram, 8gb internal storage, android 4.1.1 etc....it looks pretty bad-ass for $55 and would allow me to cut the cord between my tablet and tv. Just plug this little guy into the hdmi port and good to go, plan on using it to download torrents, surf web, fap to porn etc...comes with wireless keyboard/airmouse.

So anyone out there have any experience with these?

Well no thanks to you ignorant twats I got drunk enough to pull the trigger on an mk808b and rc12 for around $70. I did a lot of research on them and the overall consensus is that the build quality is good and the software works as advertised. Should come in the mail in a week or so, after which I will post a review for whoever gives a wet fart.

It basiclly does anything a smartphone or tablet does, only on your tv. I'm going to use it mostly for torrent downloads and movie watching, but also plan on installing a dos emulator on it and playing games like quake. From what I've seen they're pretty capable little machines. They have both a host and otg usb port and can read external hard drives up to 5 tb. Google the mk808b, that's the one I ordered.

Ok, my little android tv dongle came in the mail yesterday, so I've had some time to play with it and also my new router.

I'm impressed, its very capable. My only complaint is that it lags while downloading via ttorrent app. Otherwise it does fine, plays hd video, YouTube, music etc. Havent downloaded any games yet but I'm sure they would run fine. Here's the cool part, my new router. Its got a usb port on the back. I plug in my external hard drive and after downloading xbmc onto any device and teaching it the ip address of my router, I can stream any content off that drive, basically turning my router into a wireless media server.

How you like that?
