  3. I had to replace a part inside the Daytona and now I am having major issues getting the cover back on. Found this: http://www.triumphrat.net/street-triple-forum/233024-clutch-cover-installation.html on a Triumph forum and following that procedure it seems like I'm still missing the clutch pull rod with the arm. Any hints?!?!?! I'm about to say fuck it and start prepping Izzy for the track tomorrow.
  4. Added a new piece of furniture to my office for the winter!
  5. **Sold** Miles: 8,850+ Condition: Excellent Tires: New Michelin Pilot Activ Front & Rear Extras: - Triumph Engine Guards - Triumph Radiator Guard - Powerbronze Clear Sports Screen (215mm) - Black Imola CNC Bar End Mirrors - Manual - 2 Keys - 3 Matching Locks (used if you purchase luggage / bags) The bike was in for service a few weeks ago for an oil change, new tires front & rear (about 300 miles on them now), and new rear brake pads. The bike was purchased from Hardings Park Cycle in Canton, Ohio and they have done all of the service on the bike. I can pull the service records from them if you would like to see them. I just put the original mirrors and windscreen back on it but the other options are included. No lay-downs, drops, dents, dings, scratches, etc. Never ridden off road. There are a few vinyl stickers on the chain guard that will come off without issue or damage. Check the pictures and come out and see it for yourself (Rootstown, OH). It really is in excellent condition. Low balls will be ignored. I do not NEED to sell it. It is an awesome bike and I'll keep it before I let it go for less then it is worth. Look around (craiglist, cycle trader, ebay, etc) and you will find price is very fair. Serious inquiries only. No trades. No test rides (unless I know you). Shoot me a PM with any questions you have and I'll be happy to answer them. Price: $8499 General Information: http://www.topspeed.com/motorcycles/motorcycle-reviews/triumph/2012-triumph-tiger-800-ar123417.html Manual: http://images.triumphmotorcycles.com/media-library/110CFFA97AED48CC981D3E8E12E12D66.pdf
  6. Hey all, Just throwing this up here as a feeler to see if anyone would be interested. Me and the wife are thinking about buying our first house and need to eliminate some debt. I just thought I would throw this up to see if there was any interest in it. I still owe on it and would have to pay off the lien before the title was handed over. My last bike I did that and it took about 2 weeks for the title to come. The bike has 3300 miles on it, I barely rode this summer, maybe 800 miles tops. It has been sitting most the summer and it's the easiest thing to eliminate at the moment to free up some cash. Let me know if you are interested, im looking for about 6500 - 7000 for it. Let me know if im off on the price too. Here are a few pics. Oh yea!!! it will come with an extra left fairing, I bought the bike from a dealer in Texas that I buy all my bikes from and he shipped it to me. There is a small tiny chip in the fairing so he sent me a new fairing. Ill give that as well. I never put the fairing on cause the chip is so small it never bothered me cause I couldn't tell it was there most the time. Everything is still factory, no add ons. Here are some pics.

  8. I have decided to part with my 2006 Sprint ST 1050 with ABS. Many of you have seen this bike and know what it can do. It is a great bike for riding the twisty roads as well as slabbing as many miles as you want to accomplish in a day. I am the second owner and purchased it with just under 7,000 miles. It now has 47,650 miles and runs great. I just completed a valve check and all are still within factory spec's. Bike has matching OEM side bags, touring wind screen as well as stock screen, Corbin seat with removable back rest, K&N air filter, Kaoko Throttle lock and recent 525 chain conversion. Just completed fork seal and fork oil replacement and new rear tire. Bike is fitted with Michelin Pilot Road 3's which are great for this bike. This bike has been a great bike for me, it is finally time for me to make the move to the Adventure side. This bike with a clean title can be yours for $3500 OBO. IM me for more information.

  10. I ordered these bags from Mike at Riders Discount (thanks again Mike!!!). When they first arrived, they looked a lot smaller than I had anticipated. My old Cortech tailbag appears much larger. I decided to go ahead and try them for the Gap trip, and see just how much stuff I could fit into them. I was amazed. Yes the bike is dirty as hell in these pics. I took these while unpacking from the Gap trip. First, let's cover how they're attached to the bike. This picture shows the four straps connected to the subframe under the passenger/pillion seat. Next, this photo shows the straps sticking out from under the seat. Once we arrived at Fontana, the luggage came off and I rode like this all weekend. Here is how the bike looks with the luggage attached. As you can see, the larger bag (US20) attaches to the straps that are attached to the subframe under the seat. Then the two smaller bags (each US10) attach to the larger bag. It is all very sturdy and secure. So, how much can you fit into these things? The US20 contained all of my clothes for five days and my running shoes. How many clothes did I take for five days? Five pairs of boxers, four pairs of tall white socks, four pairs of short gray socks, four t-shirts, two pairs of shorts, one pair of jeans, one pair of running shorts, three sets of compression base layer, and of course the running shoes. And yes, you're looking at my dirty underwear. Feel that tingle? That's excitement. Well the smaller bags can't hold that much surely... This US10 had my sleeping bag. And this one had my Frog Toggs (in the drysack), toiletries, eyeglasses, knee pucks, and a jacket. Obligatory following slow bikes through the Gap on the way home pic. So there you have it folks. You can EASILY pack for five days in the US40 on a sport bike. The tank bag of course helped. That's where I carried the stuff I'd need on the road quickly; a small can of chain lube, kickstand plate, tire gauge, battery pack, microfiber cloth, cleaner, sunglasses, water, etc. I was absolutely amazed at how much stuff I could cram into these bags. One side note; don't expect your clothes to be wrinkle free when you arrive at your destination...

  14. Come see why Cycle World has voted the Triumph Street Twin as the "Best Standard Bike." Test riders rave that "The Street Twin’s new power curves give it all the pop and sizzle you want, right where you want it. It sounds glorious—deliciously, perfectly louder than its big-bro Thruxton R. And it’s like the perfect spiritual extension of a vintage Triumph, just way better performing: all the eagerness to turn, the narrow, light feeling, the fundamental rightness. The joy of riding a pure motorcycle is found right here in this 900cc parallel twin." Throw a leg over this classic at Pony Powersports Columbus today!

  17. My Father has decided to part ways with his 2007 Triumph Daytona 675. I guarantee you won't find a cleaner Daytona. This one has 1329 miles. Spotless condition. Has a Triumph Off-road Exhaust (TOR). Has no cut frame sliders and a Double Bubble windscreen. Was bought from Joes cycle shop in Dayton. Price is $5500 Its hard to find a price gauge on this bike because of the low miles and condition. Let me know what you think! I can put anyone into contact to talk to him directly. Or I can answer your questions if possible. Here is the cycle trader add but it's very generic. https://www.cycletrader.com/listing/2007-Triumph-DAYTONA-675-122077491
