  1. Just like its big brother, the RCS 19, the Brembo RCS 15 available at Riders Discount offers better brake performance with consistent feedback and the ability to switch the brake ratio to suit your braking style. You might think that sounds the same as the RCS 19, so what's different? The RCS 15 was specifically designed for single rotor applications. Shown here with the included brake light switch. The key benefit to the RCS 15 is the ability to switch between a 15 x 20 or 15 x18 lever ratio. The x20 provides a strong initial pull which is typically used on the street. The x18 option gives you a more progressive pull typically used on the track as this allows for greater feel when trail braking into the corner. Also note the folding lever comes standard. Shown here with the "low-drag" lever straight out of MotoGP. This hole is designed to allow air to pass through the lever instead of dragging and engaging the lever at speed. While not really required with a little bike, it's cool nonetheless. Also available are shorty levers, sold separately. The RCS 15 is manufactured using a combination of forge-casting and CNC-machining. Forged parts have a particular advantage over parts machined from billet when it comes to strength since the metal’s grain structure follows closely the shape of the part as it is pressed into its final form. After forging, the aluminum master cylinder blank is then machined to accept all of its hardware: banjo bolt, brake reservoir spigot, lever attachment and – most critical, the brake piston assembly. This multi-stage manufacturing process ensures both strength, through the forging process and precision via CNC finishing – both of which contribute to the master cylinder’s consistent, exacting performance that has made it the “must have” brake upgrade component. The RCS 15 is not yet listed on our website so be sure to call MIKE at 866.931.6644 ext. 804 if you would like to place an order or have anymore questions. Is email more convenient? Send us a message through the forum or write to us at FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM, and we'll get back to you right away!
