  5. 2007 Kawasaki ZX6R Race/Track Bike- $4600 OBO Email for pics because it never lets me f@cking upload them on here. (mpm109@case.edu) This bike has served me very well the last three seasons and has been fairly competitive. Unfortunately, I'm going into my last year of school and I need the cash. The bike is a turn key race bike that has everything you need to go racing or have fun at track days. Motor is stock and reliable. Mods include: Elka triple clicker shock GP Suspension 25mm fork cartridges Scotts steering dampener Galfer stainless steel brake lines Attack Race Bodywork (professionally painted but 3 seasons old so definitely not perfect) Woodcraft clip-ons Vortex rear sets Leo Vince slip-on and mid-pipe w/ Pinebox header Bazzaz Fuel Injection Custom map/tune by Dyno Tune Motorsports (112 hp) -1, +2 sprockets BMC Race air filter Probably some other stuff I'm forgetting, and I have some spares that will go with the bike. It will be at Nelson Ledges on 8/31 and Pitt Race on 9/14 unless it sells before then. Clean street title in hand. 440-478-8467 mpm109@case.edu
  6. The new Z1000 is supposed to be announced today. There have been some images leaked and a video...I'm not all that enthused with the design of the front but the rest looks nice. Can't wait to hear the engine specs. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1-X30h9s1Vc
  7. For sale is my ZX6R GPR V4 Steering Damper kit. It came off my 2008 track/race bike that i sold. It works great, and is in great shape. The only thing i dont have with it for some god forsaken reason is the steering stem nut, but the one you have on it right now should work just fine (well, that's what I used anyway). It's a black and red one, if that matters to you. If you buy this, it will make your bike not head shake violently as you fly through the kink at Nelson. or as you exit the carousel at nelson. or as your get on the gas out of turn 13 at nelson. or as you hit all those fucking bumps entering turn 4 at nelson. It is $250 firm. shipping is extra. i can bring it to basically every motoseries event, or you can pick it up, or you can pay to have me ship it to you. for $5 extra, i will do an impression of that tard monster from goonies when he's all like "heeeyyyy you guyyyyzzzz". goonies tard monster impression and GPR kit must be purchased together, I will not part out. They belong together, forever.
  8. Time has come for the Ninja to go, I have ridden it less and less each summer since I've gotten it from Redkow97 3 winters ago. Its a 97, with a hair over 15k miles..Chris took very good care of it in the time he had it, so I've tried keeping on his mark with that..New tires were put on last summer, as well as the fogbones, the fog rear sets, and generic clip ons..The fogbones raised the rear a little over an inch, and I've slid the forks through the trees about an inch..I had plans to eventually make this a track day bike, which never really panned out. This spring I did a new chain, fresh oil change (has 35 miles on the oil change). I blacked out the windshield (I also have a second, clear one), replaced all the bulbs in the gauge cluster, got rid of the whole undertail license plate mounting crap, and the turn signals have been off for over a year now..Still have the wiring tucked in, and all 4 turn signals..could be back on in less than an hour. The bike also recieved a new sealed battery this past spring. To fit the clip ons, I did have to trim into the upper fairing a bit. The Photo in the garage is the most recent, I took it last week..The other photos are from last summer, and the year before. I've never dropped it or wrecked it, it does have a minor scratch on the lower chin fairing, I believe Chris said it fell over in his garage when he owned it. I also believe he had put stiffer springs in the forks to stop the front end of diving so much on heavy braking, but I forget the details. I have most of the original parts (original windshield, bars, rearsets, as well as the clymer manual Chris gave me when I bought the bike. The bike runs great, and has never left me stranded, or missed a beat..I've went on 400+ mile rides over weekends with no issue whatsoever. Clean Ohio title in my name Asking $1200 OBO to OR memebers, If interested, please give me a call or email, and mention you're from OR 330 720 3969 or shaun.jordan@gmail.com .. Text IS PREFERRED due to the nature of my job, but I usually check my phone every hour or two and at lunchtime. Any questions, feel free to ask...I'd be willing to trade, but thats really limited to a 4 stroke dual-sport street legal bike, or really any 2 or 4 stroke off road dirtbike... Thanks!

  10. Hello everyone, I'm a new rider and a new member to this site. I live on the West Side of Columbus and I just recently completed my MSF course and obtained my endorsement. I ride a Blue 2000 Kawasaki Ninja 500R. I'm 29 years old and mainly decided to start riding in order to be able to save money on my commute to work downtown every day because the daily cost of garage parking for cars downtown is ridiculous. It's also something I enjoy doing for fun.Yesterday was the first day of good riding weather and I put 150 miles on my bike just for fun cruising around with a friend (also a long time member on this site who recommended that I join). So hopefully there will be some fun group rides or road trips on here that I'll be able to join. I look forward to hopefully meeting many of you and picking up on some of the finer points in riding technique, motorcycle maintenance, tips and tricks,....whatever and above all else enjoy the ride!

  12. Hey All, I'm selling my Ninja 300. This bike is stock everything. Roughly 2500 miles. I am the original owner and I bought it last year (i think towards end of summer). My commute to work went from 5 miles around town to 40 miles highway, so I'm looking to get a bigger bike now. I have it on Cincinnati Craigslist for $4000. Would be willing to sell here for $3500.

  17. Thanks to a good friend of mine I am working my way back on to two wheels! He moved to Cleveland recently and decided to give me his old bike. He hadn't ridden it in over a year and said he knew I would give it the love it deserved. On to the pics!!! It's a 1996 Kawasaki ZX6E (ZZR600 if I am correct) It's definitely not the prettiest bike right now but I'll get that fixed once shes back up and running again. Here she is the day I picked her up from his house. I am storing and doing the work at a friends house near by since I live in an apartment. He also included the "Box O' Parts" he had for the bike when he first got it. First on the list to strip just about everything down and flush the fluids. All the electrical works but I didn't want to attempt to turn it over since it's been sitting for so long. That's all I have for now but i will be updating this as I build her back up.
  18. So what's on the calendar for sportbike riders in and around Columbus for 2014? What events are you looking forward to? What would you like to see more of from dealers and local businesses as far as getting groups of riders out and about? I ask because most events I attend seem to consist of mostly vtwins - there have to be events that focus on sportbikes that I am just not aware of. What about bike shows? Do you find that there are classes for metric bikes? if there were, would you bring your bike and your friends out? Do you bring your sportbike out to poker runs and such?
