  1. JEFFERSON CITY, Mo., August 5, 2014 – In a landslide today, Missouri voters took a powerful first step towards a nullification of gun control measures by approving a constitutional amendment “obligating” the state to defend the right to keep and bear arms against all infringements. Amendment 5, originally introduced in the Missouri legislature as Senate Joint Resolution 36 (SJR36), was passed into the Missouri state constitution by a huge margin today. At the time of this report, the measure had a 64% approval. The question posed to Missouri voters was: “Shall the Missouri Constitution be amended to include a declaration that the right to keep and bear arms is a unalienable right and that the state government is obligated to uphold that right?” As passed by voters, Amendment 5 now affirms that “the right of every citizen to keep and bear arms in defense of his home, person, family and property, or when lawfully summoned in aid of the civil power, shall not be questioned. The rights guaranteed by this section shall be unalienable. The state of Missouri shall be obligated to uphold these rights and shall under no circumstances decline to protect against their infringement.” [emphasis added] Interesting.... 2. It’s white. It’s square. And at 1-by-1 inch in diameter, it is the perfect accoutrement to any entrepreneur’s smartphone. With its quick swipe capability and ultimate portability, the high-tech Square Reader credit-card processor has become an invaluable tool in today’s economy. Last summer, around the same time the U.S. Department of Justice’s Operation Choke Point began pressuring banks to drop customers who buy or sell firearms, tobacco and other goods considered “not acceptable” by the Obama administration, Square quietly changed its terms of agreement. In an alert regarding a change of terms, Square notified vendors: …you will not accept payments in connection with the following businesses or business activities: …sales of (i) firearms, firearm parts or hardware, and ammunition; or (ii) weapons and other devices designed to cause physical injury. The restaurant’s name: Shooters Grill, located in the gun-friendly town of Rifle. Waitress Ashlee Saenz serves customers with a loaded Ruger .357 Blackhawk handgun holstered to her leg, Old West-style,and she knows how to use it, she told the Post Independent. “Guns are welcome on premises,” a sign on Shooter’s front door says. “Please keep all weapons holstered, unless the need arises. In such cases, judicious marksmanship is appreciated.” Shooters owner Lauren Boebert called herself a strong supporter of the Second Amendment. “We encourage it, and the customers love that they can come here and express their rights,” Boebert told the Post. “This country was founded on our freedom. People can come in carrying their gun, and they can pray over their food.” News anchor scolded by co-host for turning into a horn dog on-air over colleague’s bikini Boebert and her husband, Jayson, opened the Western-themed restaurant a little more than a year ago. Its menu features American and Mexican food. Alcohol is not in the offing, and the décor and philosophy reflect Boebert’s strong faith.. “I consulted with my Christian friends, and everyone said ‘Shooters’ sounded like a bar or a strip joint,” she said. “But I thought, this is Rifle — it was founded around guns and the Old West. We called it Shooters and started throwing guns and Jesus all over the place.” The restaurant offers training classes every other month so participants can qualify for a concealed carry permit in Colorado and Utah. The sessions even include dinner. In a town with a low crime rate, Police Chief John Dyer told the Post he likes Shooters’ business model. “If it was a bar, I might be saying something different. But I have no problem with it,” he said. “And besides, they make a really good burger.” From left, Shooters staffers Ashlee Saenz, owner Lauren Boebert, Jessie Spaulding and Dusty Sheets stand in front of the business in their work attire. 4. I have been offered 3 guns, which of 2 i can choose for trade, but i am not sure of the value. I was at Ohio Valley in Lancaster, and asked an older gentleman behind the counter and he quoted me as follows: 300$ for a Romanian Ak-47. 400$ for a Para Ordance 1911 .45 double stack. 700$ for an upgraded Saiga .20 shotgun. So i have to come you guys, as you know far more than i do. I have been given limited details on these guns, i have only seen pictures of the shotgun and Ak. Both appear to be in good condition. So can anyone help me out with the values for these Romanian Ak-47 Saiga .20 shotgun (upgraded) Para Ordnance 1911 .45 double stack (P14?) Thanks in advance, i appreciate it.
  5. Tired of clowning around with facebook fools, so posting this here. Keltec all black P11 in 9mm, with 4 holsters, IWB all leather with metal belt clip, IWB hybrid with leater/kydex in black, OWB Fobus, OWB American Pride leather brown slip in holster. 2x10rd mags, case, belt clip, all included. Purchased from member on OR 2 years ago, carried it a while, then bought some new ones over the past few months and want to make a little room in the safe. No trades, please don't offer me a boat, non-working scooter, or anything besides CASH. Sorry, just tired of being jerked around. If anyone is serious about this, I live in Groveport, work in Polaris, and can meet around 270 anytime from now until 9pm anyday of the week really. Obviously prefer to make it around work commute, or meet up for beers/dinner. $275 cash, these are going for $300+ at OVO with nothing but the gun, Vances are $300ish new, but I am including 4 holsters. Must have VALID OH ID, and sign a basic bill of sale. I don't want your blood type, or anything like that, just signatures, terms, and matching ID to signature. That's it. John 419-610- five six six six. I have pics on my cell, and facebook. I have 1 sale kind of pending but dude has been jerking me around and lives 2 hours south. Multiple other people tell me they want it, then when it's time to meet, don't show up, or don't paypal me the money for me to ship it out of state to FFL. F all of them, would like to sell it to a friend that needs a good CCW/CHL gun. This thing is in great shape, I've shot it 3 times and cleaned it every time I use it.
  6. I have a glock 19 9mm 4th gen and an m&p 40 I'm trying to get rid of, the glock has only had 150 rounds through it and the m&p had had about 500, idk if I'm asking to much for a 1911 but its my dream gun and I figure it's worth a shot, if I try to sell it anywhere else I know I won't nearly what they're worth, so if anyone has a hankering for a 9mm and a .40 lemme know
