  1. A deal too good to pass up has come my way and sadly I don't have room for more than 2 bikes so... My beloved project/track bike is being put up for sale. I picked it up from this forum 2 years ago and it's seen 4 track days at Mid-O with me as the pilot. I'm not in a super-duper hurry to sell... looking for $2,000. Bike runs well, but it may need its valves adjusted. Has a 996 front end, sprung stock with 7.5wt oil. Stock rear shock Bike is stripped down of all non-essential electronics Fuel injected Have title, clean Rear tire is new (Pilot Power 3) Front tire has maybe 2 or 3 more track days worth of life (take-off from my street bike) Fairings repaired and repainted over the winter, sharkskinz fiberglass Woodcraft rearsets OR sticker on swingarm (essential) Somewhere between 70 and 80 horsepower, she had some engine work done (higher compression) back in her WERA days, no bore kit or anything to my knowledge Fair warning, if you're looking for a pristine bike with no blemishes or beauty marks, this is not the one for you. There are a few other members on here that can attest to the fact that the bike runs and is pretty quick for an older girl. Anyhow, pictures:
  2. 2007 Kawasaki ZX6R Race/Track Bike- $4600 OBO Email for pics because it never lets me f@cking upload them on here. (mpm109@case.edu) This bike has served me very well the last three seasons and has been fairly competitive. Unfortunately, I'm going into my last year of school and I need the cash. The bike is a turn key race bike that has everything you need to go racing or have fun at track days. Motor is stock and reliable. Mods include: Elka triple clicker shock GP Suspension 25mm fork cartridges Scotts steering dampener Galfer stainless steel brake lines Attack Race Bodywork (professionally painted but 3 seasons old so definitely not perfect) Woodcraft clip-ons Vortex rear sets Leo Vince slip-on and mid-pipe w/ Pinebox header Bazzaz Fuel Injection Custom map/tune by Dyno Tune Motorsports (112 hp) -1, +2 sprockets BMC Race air filter Probably some other stuff I'm forgetting, and I have some spares that will go with the bike. It will be at Nelson Ledges on 8/31 and Pitt Race on 9/14 unless it sells before then. Clean street title in hand. 440-478-8467 mpm109@case.edu
  3. One owner, clean title in hand. Track only. Stock motor. 20,990 miles. The time has come for me to face the reality that getting back on the track isn't in the cards. So I'm selling my baby, a 2004 R6 that I bought brand new in September of 04 and have ridden every mile since. It hasn't been babied by any stretch of the imagination, but it has been obsessively maintained. Runs like the day it was new, only stronger. Routinely dyno'd at over 100hp at the wheel. From commutes, to exploring the twisties in Kentucky, to drag races and track days, this bike has always taken everything I threw at her and come back asking for more. Zero mechanical malfunctions in all the time I've owned her.Always used Motul 300V oil and RBF600 brake fluid, changed more often than my socks. Only the finest of distilled waters in the cooling system. Suspension only has two days on the track since it was last serviced. The paint is pockmarked from going fast, and there's a little rash on the right lower from a teensy low-side at Grattan a bunch of years ago. Otherwise, the bike has always been rubber-side up.Would make an excellent first track day bike, or novice racer, or endurance race machine. Fully safety-wired, never leaked a drop of anything, and always passed tech with flying colors. Comes with an absurd number of spares, Pit Bull front and rear stands, aluminum loading ramps, a rain suit, and even a service manual. You're a couple sets of fresh tires away from driving directly to the track with this thing in your trailer.Mods include:Suspension and Brakes Elka 3-way rear shock Stock forks with GP Suspension cartridge kit Suspension built, serviced, and tuned by Matt Carr, sprung for 190lb rider Tapered roller bearings in the headset Ohlins linear steering damper Galfer SS braided brake hoses EBC pads Powertrain Dynojet PCIII USB with custom tune Leo Vince SBK carbon and titanium exhaust Factory Pro +4 ignition advance Factory Pro Superflare velocity stacks Graves slide stops and AIS blockoff plates BMC Race filter Shorai LFX battery Custom 1/4 turn throttle mod Drivetrain DID 520 chain AFAM and DID sprockets (-1 front, +0, +1, and +2 rears with carriers) Two extra sets of wheels Bodywork Catalyst Composites bodywork with custom paint and graphics Woodcraft rearsets, case covers, frame sliders Puig clear DB windscreen Graves fairing stay Pazzo shorty levers
  4. No-haggle CR price of $3100, won't go any less, too much invested in the front end swap & parts. Good shape overall, small dent on left side of tank, runs like a champ. Not in a hurry to sell, just interested in new toys. CL ad with pics below. Thanks! Andon http://columbus.craigslist.org/mcy/5956981528 .html
