  3. The Ohlins TTX GP shock is straight off of WSBK machines. Ok not really, but it's about as close as you can get to WSBK technology for your bike. Using all new valve stacks, the compression and rebound adjustments have improved even more over the MkII. With the TTX GP, you'll get a wider range of adjustment with more consistent feedback on a lighter shock body. We have a limited number of these shocks on sale right now at $1195 shipped in the lower 48 : 2010-2014 S1000RR 2013+ 675 2006+ R6 09+ GSXR1000 11+ GSXR600/750 11+ ZX10 This is not listed on our website, but if you have any questions or would like to place an order just give MIKE a call at 866.931.6644 ext. 804. Is email more convenient? Send us a message through this forum or write to us at FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM, and we'll get back to you right away! The main difference between the MkII and the TTX GP are the rebound and compression valves which are straight out of the WSBK machines. Initially what you'll notice when you receive your Ohlins TTX GP shock is that you can adjust the TTX GP rebound and compression with your fingers by turning the knobs. The MkII required an allen key to make any adjustment. Diving deeper into the valving, the TTX MkII valving was quite a bit thinner and had no support at the end of the needle resulting in a needle that flexed due to internal pressure giving you non-linear changes in adjustment. The TTX GP valving is much beefier with a fully supported needle giving you more consistent changes in the adjustments. This is the same shock the Riders Discount Triumph team used to finish off their season resulting in placing as the top Triumph team. Riders Discount Triumph crew chief and MotoGP engineer, Richard Stanboli, noted that this Ohlins TTX GP shock is much improved over the MkII with an adjustment range that is more linear than previous versions. Pictured here is the Ohlins TTX GP shock off the Riders Discount Triumph 675R being serviced before the Mid-Ohio race. What this means is that each click on the TTX GP is going to have the the same change in feedback throughout the adjustment range whereas before, one click may have a smaller or greater change than the next. TTX GP is be available for most major bikes used in national racing as well as the new street bike models.

  8. A steering damper is one of the most important upgrades you can purchase for your motorcycle. Not only is it required for racing and highly recommend for most trackday organizations, it can help keep your front wheel in check during any "spirited" riding you may have on your local streets. Not yet listed on the website, if you would like to place an order or have any questions give MIKE a call at 866.931.6644 ext. 804. Is email more convenient? Send us a message through this forum or write to us at FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM, and we'll get back to you right away! A steering damper helps keep the front end in line preventing the dreaded "tank slappers." Available from Riders Discount are the linear piston style Ohlins steering dampers that are used by the top motorcycle racing teams in the world. Even if your motorcycle comes equipped with a damper from the factory, they aren't as precise or as adjustable as an aftermarket damper like the Ohlins pictured here. Included with the kits that replace a factory unit is a resistor to eliminate any warning lights that may appear when you remove the old damper. Precision machinery on any included brackets. The adjustment knob allows you to fine tune the amount of resistance and can be easily used with a glove on. Give us a call to place your order today!
