  1. We love to ride but when winter hits, the choice between commuting the bike to work versus a warm car makes for one tough decision. With the Gerbing 12V Heated Jacket Liner from Riders Discount, that decision will be an easy choice allowing you to extend your riding season well into the cold months. According to Gerbing, as long as there's traction and heat, there's no end to the riding season. Available to purchase from Riders Discount today with MSRP at $249.99, the Gerbing 12V Heated Jacket Liner is a worthy item to add to your gear collection. Not yet listed on our website, the Gerbing 12V Heated Jacket Liner can be ordered by calling MIKE at 866.931.6644 ext. 804 or by sending us a private message through this forum. Is email more convenient? Write to us at FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM, and we'll get back to you right away! Made in the USA, the Gerbing jacket liner shown here is the most popular item we sell. It's really the starting point of your Gerbing gear collection. Meant to be worn under your motorcycle jacket, the liner has a windproof nylon shell that allows you to easily slip your jacket over this liner. The fit is a little large so we recommend going a size down from what you normally wear. For those with longer arms, Gerbing also has a "long" version of each size that have longer sleeves. Worried about ordering the wrong size? Don't worry, Riders Discount has an easy returns and exchanges policy. With seven total heating pads using Gerbing's patented micro-wire heating technology, the jacket gets from cold to hot in around 4 seconds. Using stainless steel bundled wire, the heating elements will last last for a long time and are actually guaranteed for life. With a max operating range of 135 deg F at 77 Watts, each heating pad has thermal resistors installed that act as a solenoid to avoid overheating and burning your skin. Electrical plugs, connectors, and any solder joints, as well as all materials and craftsmanship are covered by a one year warranty from date of purchase. Seven heating pads located on the chest, back, sleeves, and collar. Designed to work seamlessly with Gerbing's coreheat12 riding system, the Gerbing jacket liner comes with a battery harness to connect to your motorcycle's power supply. However, you will need to purchase a temperature controller to avoid overheating and burns. Single and dual temp controllers are available with the dual shown here. We highly recommend getting the dual as more often than not, customers are ordering gloves with the liner and the dual controller allows you to control the temps separately from one another. Coreheat12 Thermovelocity System is powered by your motorcycle's battery and using a combination of included harnesses and temp controllers. You can combine these gloves to work with any of the coreheat12 riding apparel from Gerbing. Riders Discount carries the full line of Gerbing products!

Red, white, and black in color. It just sits around since I no longer have a street bike so I figured I'd put it up for sale. Quality leather jacket protection for cheap. Size 46/56. 5. I have a nice set of full gauntlet AGV Sport race gloves for sale. I bought them a few years back and they ended up being just a bit too small for me. They are size Large. I kept them around as backups, but they've just been sitting around so I figured I might as well get rid of them. They have only been used a handful of times and are in great shape. They look pretty cool too. Red, black, and white in color. Great glove at a cheap price! $50.00 plus shipping, or local Cleveland pickup. (For some reason it won't let me upload the pics because they are too large, which is ridiculous. Just email me at mpm109@case.edu for pics or request in this thread with an email address.)
  6. I've acquired some new gear that fits me a little better so I'm selling off all my other stuff. (Pics posted below) Alpinestars Carver Race Suit Sz. 46/56 Used this suit for two seasons and it has served me well. The suit is solid and in good shape. I've crashed in it twice (no injuries), so it has the expected scrapes and scuffs. There is a very small hole in one of the forearms, but there is armor behind it and it was so small that I didn't bother having it fixed. I also had to have the left ass cheek panel repaired. I put a decent hole in the leather there, and my leather repair guy ended up placing a new leather panel over that entire area. The black leather he used is a slightly different texture than the rest, but it is hardly noticeable unless you're looking for it. That part of the suit is probably stronger than it was before. Other than that this is a really good suit for racing, track days, or the street. $300 Komodo K-FX Race Gloves Sz. L (but honestly fit more like a XXL) These gloves are amazing! Very comfortable and super protective. Unfortunately, I have very long, skinny hands and fingers, so the length of the gloves was perfect but there's just a little too much room in the body of the glove for me. Only used for a couple of track days and are in excellent condition. Quality gloves: kangaroo palms, full gauntlet with big wrist protector/slider, Schoeller Keprotec used in high impact areas, and Knox Scaphoid Protection System (palm sliders). $90 Alpinestars SP2 Race Gloves Sz. L Used these full gauntlet gloves for two seasons, and they show some signs of wear. Mostly cosmetic though as they are still solid with no rips or tears even though I've been down in them twice. The extra layer of fabric placed over the leather on the left thumb is starting to come off just from wear from the handlebar. I don't think this is a big deal though, they just don't look quite as pretty as they used to. Good protection for cheap. $40 Alpinestars SMX-R Race Boots Sz. 47 (12 U.S.) Also used these for two race seasons and these bad boys show it! Crashed in twice but they saved my feet. Still a solid pair of boots but with a few issues: hole wearing through on top of the left foot from shifter, hole wore through on right boot ankle from rubbing on my heel guard, and sole of right boot pretty worn from the sharp ass Vortex foot peg. But still better protection than no boots at all! Would probably be nice for a street guy too who wants a little extra protection for "spirited" rides. $60 Prices do not include shipping, but I'm willing to meet people within a reasonable distance. I live in Cleveland, but will be in Columbus starting mid-May. Email is the best way to contact me: mpm109@case.edu Pics will be posted below.
  7. So, selling some stuff to clear the herd. I have my custom Arsenal Leatherworks race suit. Basically a size 54/44 for those of you looking in that range. This would have cost over $1600 to have made. But, selling for $600 OBO. Buy the suit and get a set of like new Arsenal race gloves for free. (At $600 asking price)... I did have a lowside on a Diavel at Mid-Ohio. Got the butt panel, hip, knee and back of forearm. Not bad at all. Held up nicely. Just has pavement scuffing. Some of the printing is wearing off slightly, but this is a great quality suit. Can easily have a panel made to cover my name if desired. Pics: Next up, a BRAND NEW Speed and Strength Triple Crown track suit. I'd call this a track suit vs. a full on race suit. I have the Twist of Fate and it is a race suit. But, this is brand new and never worn. Size 55/44. These are on sale everywhere at $300. I will ask $250 as I am in columbus and you can get it today. $250 is a steal... I can take an actual pic if needed, but here is a stock photo: Ducati Dianese street leather jacket. Size 54. Asking $200 Finally, a BRAND NEW leather classic style jacket from Triumph. This is the Endsleigh Jacket. These are pretty much sold out everywhere and those that are being sold are huge or out of stock. Pretty rad jacket with Knox armor. Asking $150. This says Size MD. However... I am 6'1" and it fits me perfect. Triumph Jackets are slightly smaller than they fit. Meaning, you are a LG in everything else? Buy a MD jacket... Pics: I also have the two sets of boots in another thread. I am getting aggressive with those so, check em out!

Joe Rocket mesh riding jacket with a rain liner, it is the Velocity model with elbow and spine pads. 21. My apologies to @Hollywood33 for plagiarizing his ad, but it was sooo cool. Awesome Alpinestars MX1 leather suit. All black. The suit is a size 48/58, but has had some modifications done by Barnacle Bill. I am 6' 2" and between 200 and 210 pounds. Athletic build. 36" waist. I always needed a size 48 so the the upper body (chest and shoulders mainly) was big enough and the sleeves were long enough, but this always left too much width and length in the legs. I had Barnacle Bill take out an inch of width and 2 inches of length from the legs, and about an inch of width in the arms. This suit fits me like a glove now. Now to the current version - I am 6' 1" and about 185 pounds and it fit me great. It had been down with mild scuffs before I owned it, and it has been down once since I've owned it. Still in pretty good condition, all protection intact. Any questions, let me know. $350 + shipping (can deliver depending on location and date due to travel throughout Ohio for work).

  24. Hello! I'm getting ready to start BRC classes and I'm super stoked! I've been reading about all the types of gear available, and I'm wondering what I should have when I start classes. Is it enough to have the basic boots, gloves and jacket, or is it wise to have armor and maybe something like a Roadcrafter suit? Thanks, A complete and total newbie
