Constructed from durable 600D polyester fabric with water repelling surface treatment, the Megaton jacket is cut for sport and sport touring riders. Inside you'll find a removable waterproof and breathable Drystar liner as well as a removable thermal liner. CE rated armor is used in the shoulders and elbows with compartments to allow for upgraded chest and back armor such as the Alpinestars bionic series. Accordion panels are used on the shoulder blade and elbow allowing you a wide range of motion. Tons of ventilation incorporated into the jacket with intake vents on the shoulder and sleeve, and two exhaust vents on the back. This breathes quite well for being a four season jacket. The climate control system on the Bogota jacket is completely innovative with controllable vents on the shoulder, back, and even on the sleeve thanks to a dual zipper system that opens up to allow air flow up the arm via mesh gussets. Taped for that added layer of water resistance. If you get too cold though, you have two layers to keep you warm and dry. The first layer you can add on to the outer shell is the waterproof and breathable Drystar full liner with taped seams to ensure water-repelling performance. Attach a full thermal liner to that to keep you warm down to even the coldest of temperatures. You can store both of these liners in the pouch on the lower back of the jacket when not in use.
