Graphics On Sale: Vinales Large X-Large Arai Corsair-X Maverick Vinales Helmet - MSRP $979.95 - Forum Price $469 shipped in the lower 48 Dani Medium Large X-Large Arai Corsair-X Dani Pedrosa Helmet - MSRP $979.95 - Forum Price $469 shipped in the lower 48 About the Arai Corsair-X: The PB-SNC² shell of the Corsair-X is made from synthetic fibers and a special resin formula, resulting in a lightweight and durable helmet. This helmet's interior features Eco-Pure material, which helps maintain a neutral pH level close to the skin. 5mm peel away cheek pads allow you to customize the fit of the Corsair-X. The IC Duct-5 air intake and Type 12 diffusers work together to allow maximum ventilation. A clear Pinlock insert is included with this helmet. The Arai Corsair-X is both Snell 2015 and DOT certified.
  2. The Arai Corsair-X Nicky-7 Helmet was designed to commemorate MotoGP World Champion Nicky Hayden. The Nicky-7 graphic has a striking red, white, and blue American Flag-style design. The back of the helmet features the "Made In USA" logo that Hayden wore on his helmet during the first five rounds of the 2017 World Superbike season. With all of the features of the Corsair-X and this special graphic, the Nicky-7 is a truly spectacular helmet. The new PB SNC2 Shell of the Corsair-X is much lighter. In fact, it is 30% lighter than the Corsair-V. This is greatly attributed to the synthetic fibers and special resin formula that Arai has developed. Arai has not abandoned their special R75 shell shape, however. A lightweight, aerodynamic, and protective helmet is very sought after by racers, and Arai certainly has delivered. One of the biggest changes with this helmet is the upgraded ventilation system. The top/center vent allows around 11% more airflow than the Corsair-V did. All of the vents on the new Corsair-X are easier to adjust with gloves, as well as more durable and longer. Another significant change is the new "Variable Axis System" (VAS). The VAS has a variable axis (moving pivot point) allowing the shield to open and close, even with the 24mm lower shield mount position. The interior of the Corsair-X not only provides protection and comfort but also does a great job keeping you cool. The plush lining in combination with the ventilation system wicks sweat away and helps keep you a comfortable temperature. The interior is made of Eco Pure material, which helps maintain neutral acidity levels close to the human skin and antibacterial consumption. 5mm peel away ear pockets on the Corsair-X allow riders room for a communication system. Per customers’ requests, Arai lowered the chin bar by 3mm for extra comfort (great for riders that use a microphone) and upgraded the chin curtain and neck roll to help block out unwanted noise and help improve ventilation. The Corsair-X comes with a VAS V MV Shield, which is a clear anti-fog Pinlock shield. There are several tinted shield options available for purchase as well. The Arai Corsair-X is both 2015 Snell and DOT certified. MSRP $979.95 If you have any questions about this product or would like to place an order, feel free to give MIKE a call at 866.931.6644 ext. 804. Is email more convenient? 3. The latest race helmet from Arai, the Corsair-X, is one of the best premium helmets on the market. The Arai Corsair-X Vinales-2 Helmet features the graphic that Maverick Viñales sported at the Valencia pre-season test back in November. The new PB SNC2 Shell of the Corsair-X is much lighter. 4. Australian-born Michael "Mick" Sydney Doohan is a former professional motorcycle racer who won five consecutive 500cc World Championships (1994-1998). The first turn at Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit is named after the motorcycle legend. Now the Corsair-X is available in a brand new Doohan graphic: the Arai Corsair-X Doohan TT Helmet. The new PB SNC2 Shell of the Corsair-X is much lighter. In fact, it is 30% lighter than the Corsair-V. 5. ]New from Arai is their Pro Shade shield system available from Riders Discount. Pictured here with the 2014 Arai Corsair V Isle of Man TT (not included) The Arai Pro Shade system replaces the face shield of any current full face helmets using their SAI-type shield. This includes the Vector-2, Defiant, Signet-Q, RX-Q, and Corsair-V. When raised, the shield works like a visor peak, minimizing glare when the sun is higher in the sky. Lowering the shield is particularly beneficial when the sun is lower in the sky. The Pro Shade shield locks into place in the peak position. To lower, simply pull forward on the shield to lower back down. You can still use your optional clear max vision Pinlock anti-fog visor with the Pro Shade system. The brow vents have the option to partially close to suit your venting needs. For more information, or if you'd like to place an order, send MIKE a message or give him a call at 866.931.6644 ext. 804. Is email more convenient? Rabat is well on his way to MotoGP fame, get your hands on his first replica lid available at Riders Discount today! All the same great features and specs from the base Corsair V model but with all new looks in the Rabat replica. Heavy metallic flake really makes this lid pop in the sun! 7. Based on the Arai Corsair V but tweaked for street riding, the Arai RX-Q DNA helmet features a more road based design with emphasis on comfort, reduction in wind noise, and riding position. Available in white with black stripes or black with white stripes, the Arai RX-Q DNA is ready to ship from Riders Discount. The Arai RX-Q DNA is available to purchase through our website. If you need help placing your order, or have any questions about the product, feel free to give MIKE a call at 866.931.6644 ext. 804. Is email more convenient? Send us a private message through this forum or write to us at FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM, and we'll get back to you right away! Worried about ordering the wrong size? Don't worry, Riders Discount has an easy returns and exchanges policy. This helmet is virtually identical to the Corsair V using the same eyeport and shield even, however the fit is more standard to American riders with an intermediate oval shell shape. The helmet is constructed from a different density material which results in an extremely comfortable and quiet helmet that still offers superior ventilation when riding in the upright position. The graphic while subtle in design uses a decent amount of small metallic flake in the clear coat giving this graphic serious depth and pop in the sun. The thumbprint on the side is that of designer Aldo Drudi. The shell itself is smaller with a more aerodynamic profile and features a Hyper-Rider along the bottom of the shell to improve aerodynamic stability at speed. Put on the helmet and feel the luxurious fit and comfort of owning an Arai helmet. The cheek pads and liner feature removable layers of liner for a truly custom fit. Equipped with an Emergency Cheek Pad removal system so emergency workers can safely remove your helmet in the event of an accident. DOT and Snell 2010 approved, the Arai RX-Q DNA helmet is designed for the street without giving up the benefits of a race helmet. The DNA helmet is available and ready to ship to your door today from Riders Discount. If you need help placing your order or have anymore questions regarding the item, feel free to contact our sales team!
  8. Arai has taken the Signet-Q that we've all grown to love and made it even better with the addition of key new features. The Arai Signet-Q Pro Tour is pretty much the same as before only with a different liner, Pro Shade visor system, and ear pockets for your comm system. Check out the item on our website at www.RidersDiscount.com! If you have anymore questions or would like to place an order, simply give MIKE a call at 866.931.6644 ext. 804. Is email more convenient? Send us a message through this forum or write to us at FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM, and we'll get back to you right away! The Sig-Q Pro Tour is a long oval fit with an additional 5mm of space front to back and a different shell shape that greatly reduces forehead pressure eliminating hot spots. The new Pro Shade system is Arai's solution to the drop down visor while still maintaining a SNELL safety rating. What's better about the Pro Shade visor system than the other helmets with an internal drop down visor is that the Pro Shade visor can also be used as a helmet peak. Arai have designed this visor so that it is aerodynamically efficient in the up position. There is no additional buffeting noticeable when riding with it up. It automatically locks in place in the up position. To bring it down, simply pull the visor forward to unlock the visor and pull it down. Inside you'll find a new Eco-Pure liner that is even better than before with advanced moisture wicking and anti-bacterial properties. Removable ear pockets allow you to insert your communications ear speakers into the liner without creating a pressure point on your ear. Ventilation is even better than before with greater control over the brow vents. Now you can raise them halfway to fine tune how much air you want passing through. What do you think of the new features that Arai has added to the Signet-Q Pro Tour? Let us know in a comment below!
  9. New from Arai this year is the Chopper graphic on their Defiant model. The Arai Defiant Chopper features a symmetrical graphic of hand drawn choppers in silver metallic pinstriping on both sides of the lid. Available to purchase from our website, the Arai Defiant Chopper helmet is an intermediate oval head shape but also has layers of 5mm foam in the temples and cheek pads that allow you to customize the fit to your liking. If you have any questions regarding the Arai Defiant helmet or would like to place an order give MIKE a call at 866.931.6644 ext. 804. Is email more convenient? Send us a message through this forum or write to us at FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM, and we'll get back to you right away! The Arai Defiant has a construction that is loosely based on the RX-Q, meaning that it has all the build-quality and safety features one would expect from Arai. The outer shell is made from hand-laid fiberglass that has been shaped into a smooth, spherical shape that has been engineered to transfer stress evenly across its surface in the event of an impact. The shell also features peripheral belting in across the forehead and the patented Arai Hyper-Ridge around the base for increased strength with a low center of gravity. Underneath this shell is a multi-density EPS liner that is specifically designed to absorb impact energy in a way that is similar to the crumple zones of a modern car or truck. One area that the Defiant differs from other helmets in Arai’s line-up is the way that it manages airflow. This is because Arai’s inspiration for the Defiant was actually the latest crop of high-performance naked bikes with a slightly more upright riding position and less wind protection. Both of factors lead to a higher volume of air hitting the helmet at any given time, and Arai used its MotoGP program to develop a new type of flared chin spoiler in order to combat the issues this can cause. This addition reduces lateral movement, lift, buffeting and wind noise. A more familiar rear spoiler and pair of stabilizers at the back round out the aerodynamic feature-set at the back. Ventilation also received a significant amount of attention for the same reasons as the aforementioned aerodynamic features, and the resulting ventilation system is one of the best we have encountered. All of the vents are brand new for the Defiant and not only flow tons of air when you need it, but also create an amazingly quiet seal when closed. At first glance, the most noticeable of these is the chin vent. It has a 3-stage switch that you can use to toggle between directing air to the face, the shield, and to close it completely. Intakes on top of the head are a slick new style that close very tightly and are easy to operate with a gloved hand. Two that are easily overlooked are the vents in the shield. They look like those found on other Arai’s, but instead of venting to the forehead, the air is channeled around to the temples and ears. According to Arai, this cools the blood flowing to the brain through the temporal artery. We lacked the medical equipment to test this claim, but we can say that it does feel great to have airflow in this normally stuffy area. A Pinlock ready shield and clear insert are included with every Defiant helmet from Arai. Now available from Riders Discount, give our expert sales staff a call for any questions or if you'd like to place an order!
  10. A farewell design from Arai, this Corsair V Edwards features a restyled and updated version of Colin's personal favorite graphic from the 1999 season and of course, the Texas flag. If you're an Edwards fan, this is a "must have" helmet to add to your collection! Available to purchase from our website, the Arai Corsair V Edwards replica helmet is an intermediate oval head shape but also has layers of 5mm foam in the temples and cheek pads that allow you to customize the fit to your liking. If you have any questions regarding the Arai Corsair V helmet or would like to place an order give MIKE a call at 866.931.6644 ext. 804. Is email more convenient? Send us a message through this forum or write to us at FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM, and we'll get back to you right away! This wouldn't be a true Edwards helmet without the Texas flag present somewhere on the lid. On the 2014 replica, the Texas flag blends in perfectly with the Aldo Drudi designed graphics of the lid. Notice the Texas star front and center, just as it has been for the past few designs. The Arai Cor V Edwards 2014 replica marks the end of a replica series spanning three decades, incorporating eight different designs with 23 total color options. Be sure to call us to get the last Edwards replica helmet today! What do you think of this Arai Edwards replica? Give our expert sales staff a call for any questions or if you'd like to place an order today! Dark smoke shield sold separately.

This helmet features a theme loosely based on the well-known Vietnam-era combat helmet from the poster art for Full Metal Jacket. The Nicky GP Camo again cleverly shows Nicky’s face peeking out underneath “half helmet” within the design. A caricature of the Kentucky Kid is also found on the back and shows him in camo, wielding a muffler like a rifle. Most of these helmets will have a late 2013 and very early 2014 build date. 14. One of the coolest looking helmets to come across our desks lately, the Arai Signet-Q Hydra features a large Dragon with vibrant blue, red, and green colors laid out on a black frost base. Available from Riders Discount, this long oval helmet can be yours today! Order your new Arai helmet through our website here or give MIKE a call at 866.931.6644 ext. 804 for any questions you may have. Is email more convenient? Send us a message through this forum or write to us at FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM, and we'll get back to you right away! The Arai Signet-Q looks nearly identical to the RX-Q and shares many of its features. These include the wide field of vision, quiet and efficient ventilation, brow-vent shields, and the Hyper-Ridge. If you’re not already familiar with the Hyper-Ridge, it’s the distinctive band that runs around the bottom of the shell. It not only provides a lower center of gravity, but also improves strength and aerodynamics. Despite these similarities, the Signet-Q is an entirely different model, which becomes clear when you take note of the differences. The most significant difference between the Signet-Q and the RX-Q is the shape. The Signet-Q is actually 5mm longer from front to back, meaning that it is what Arai calls a long oval. Additionally, the Signet-Q has peel-away pads in the headliner that allow you to customize the fit on the sides of the head right out of the box. A new, more comfortable cheek pad system, called Facial Contour Support (FCS), was also added to this model. The new cheek pads feature an innovative design that puts just the right amount of pressure on the cheeks to give a secure fit and to keep wind noise out while being worn, but easily pull aside when putting the helmet on or taking it off. Like the headliner, the cheek pads also have a 5mm layer that can be peeled off to dial in the fit.
  15. Aldo Drudi is a world-famous designer, known for his work on MotoGP racers’ helmets and leathers. Drudi has designed gear for racers such as Kevin Schwantz, Valentino Rossi, and Marc Marquez. The Italian designer created the “Statement” graphic specially for the Corsair-X. The design is simple yet eye catching, featuring clean lines and blocks of color. It is available in both red/white/blue and black/red/white color schemes. Arai Corsair-X Black Statement Helmet The new PB SNC2 Shell of the Corsair-X is much lighter. MSRP $969.95 Another significant change is the new "Variable Axis System" (VAS). The VAS has a variable axis (moving pivot point) allowing the shield to open and close, even with the 24mm lower shield mount position. Arai Corsair-X White Statement Helmet The interior of the Corsair-X not only provides protection and comfort, but also does a great job keeping you cool. The plush lining in combination with the ventilation system wicks sweat away and helps keep you a comfortable temperature. The interior is made of Eco Pure material, which helps maintain neutral acidity levels close to human skin and antibacterial consumption. MSRP $969.95 The Corsair-X comes with a VAS V MV Shield, which is a clear anti-fog Pinlock shield. There are several tinted shield options available for purchase as well. The Arai Corsair-X is both 2015 Snell and DOT certified. If you have any questions about the product or would like to place an order, feel free to give MIKE a call at 866.931.6644 ext. 804. With all of the features of the Corsair-X, this helmet is the best of the best when it comes to premium motorcycle helmets. The new PB SNC2 Shell of the Corsair-X is much lighter. 18. The Arai Corsair-X Spencer 30th Anniversary Helmet is just as spectacular as the race season that it commemorates. American rider Freddie Spencer is considered one of the greatest professional motorcycle racers from the 1980’s. In 1985 Spencer won not just one, but three different titles in the Daytona 200. To this day, Spencer is the only racer to win all three titles in the same year. With classic red, white, and blue graphics, the Spencer Corsair-X is a timeless design. The helmet has gold detailing to outline the design. To further celebrate, the helmet features a special Spencer 30th anniversary graphic on the back. The interior of the Corsair-X not only provides protection and comfort, but also does a great job keeping you cool. The plush lining in combination with the ventilation system wicks sweat away and helps keep you a comfortable temperature. The interior is made of Eco Pure material, which helps maintain neutral acidity levels close to human skin and antibacterial consumption. 804. 19. After much anticipation, the Arai Corsair-X is finally here - and it comes in the Dani Pedrosa graphic. The Corsair-X Dani-4 Helmet has a detailed red, white, silver, and blue design that is both bold and unique. The sides of the helmet have are blue with a swirling pattern that stretches to the back. Pedrosa’s #26 is found on both sides of the helmet near the top. The entire helmet has a slight metallic shimmer. 22. Arai has long been known for their superior quality motorcycle helmets, and the Corsair-V has been a racing staple for many riders since its release. Arai has redesigned the popular Corsair-V, and announced its upgraded version as the Arai Corsair-X. The Corsair-X Nicky 6 features a striking red, white, and blue American Flag style graphic on the sides with Hayden's signature #69 near the bottom of each side. The top ties in the green color we’ve seen on previous helmets, and leads into the famous Nicky “Kentucky Kid” logo on the center back part of the helmet. With all of the new features of the Corsair-X and this special graphic, the Nicky 6 is a truly spectacular helmet. The PB SNC2 Shell of the Corsair X is much lighter.
