  1. Where did all the other posts on this topic go?
  2. Thank you. I'm Not afraid to show off what my momma gave me.
  3. Jason. If you need a model for the calendar I'm volunteering. I have way better legs than that guy.
  4. Desmohio has not been an official DOC for awhile. so it's more like a replacement than 2.
  5. I've been pre-registered since December and I just moved to Indianapolis. I plan to try to hit this place whenever I'm back into town. I had a great time too Jbot. I was in the 46s first session 45s second session and somehow I pulled out a 43.921 in the last session along with some 44s. Getting to the front for the "race" didn't even come close since I started in 7th. I had a great time trying to sort out each part of the track and find out where there was grip and where there wasn't It was also fun trying to negotiate passes and figure out how to fend off people from behind me. 2x I remember going down the back straight side by side with someone and getting put into the wall way before the turn. And of course if someone is behind you coming out of a fast section you just knew they were gonna try and shoot down the inside of you, trying to figure out how to not end up stuck on the wall seemed to be the key to fending people off. Otherwise, the other 1/2 of the time I got some clean laps and had a lot of fun just trying to get faster and faster. Definitely an addicting thing when you attach times to the experience.
  6. What a blast. I still can't believe I managed to shave 1.5 seconds to get jbot. Of course it was fun. It's a race track. Thanks for the pics. Funny to actually see myself in some. I visited a few days prior to do some photos. Check them out and like my Facebook page. Pretty please. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.577780132307225.1073741907.109997875752122&type=1&l=43a4f3b0e5

  8. This is exactly how I would attempt it, when he says spare sd card, I would make that the exact same brand and model, in hopes that you have the exact same circuit board. I'm also interested to hear if you are successful. Please report back. The problem I see is that the soldering on these sort of things is done by tiny robots, replicating it by hand is difficult if not impossible.
  9. Carbon wheels on 1199? Haven't seen that yet. Sounds like I need t swing by the shop soon. What weekend is he doing barber? Who is the host? STT?
  10. Lol, I love Tommy. He definitely gets excited. I really wanted to come ride with you guys that day but funds were short due to some recent speeding tickets (law of numbers caught up with me) and a generator purchase. I was gonna come out and watch you guys race Sunday but it rained all day. Sounds like you are getting dialed in. It's gonna be fun next year. Does Matt have another Pani to ride yet?
  11. LOL, yah what a jerkoff, doing wheelies at the track day, I told him NOT to do that. There has been a lot of discussion on the internet lately about image quality in relation to money spent on camera and lenses. Words like megapixels, dynamic range, sharpness are some of the adjectives being thrown around. I don't want to bore you with the technical details or high cost of my equipment. I figured I'd throw my hat in the ring and share 74 images from track days and races from the summer that I feel represent my work well. They are full resolution and not watermarked and you are welcome to use them on Facebook and share them with your friends or print them (you could be in one). All I ask is that you please give credit to EEI. And while you are at it, take some time to look at the quality of these images, I challenge you to compare it to photos you have purchased from anyone else. I am confident you will find it's as good as anything you've seen. If it isn't, please send me a message and let me know what you liked about the other photographer's work. Show me an example. I will listen and learn. Call it a customer critique, after all YOU are why I'm here. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/bvvzy1v44od0xbs/zy_jtUdWZy
  12. My Mom's family lives in that area. If you meet anyone with the last name of Pohlman (there is a good chance you will) They are likely related to me. My name is Joseph Hansen for when this happens.
  13. I've got no shame about sharing something I'm proud of. The guys over at trackdaymag.com chose to run another slice of my work on their website. Please go check it out and give them a like on FB if you haven't already. http://trackdaymag.com/coverstories/655-electric-eye-sees-all.html Here is a link to their FB pagehttps://www.facebook.com/TrackdayMag and minehttps://www.facebook.com/pages/ElectricEyeImagescom/109997875752122
  14. Overall I like the new bike, mostly because I love the new design of the 1199, however I am a bit disappointed that they dropped the SSSA, I know it's not on every ducati, but I've always felt it was one of the cool trick parts that sets a ducati apart. Having said that the 999 is one of my favorite designs of all time. I know, contradictory. Otherwise, I'm waiting to hear some feedback from the guys that go and track this thing. It's always interesting to see what people like and don't like. For instance the slow turn in of the 1098/848 vs it's predecessors and then the offset triples people started producing to correct the issue. I am guessing the 899 has addressed this as I believe the 1199 turns in much faster than the previous bikes, but, time will tell and we will see. If nothing else I'm sure it will sound and look sweet sitting next to any Japanese bike, the ducati's have always been good at that.
  15. Those who ordered CDs, It's been a very busy few weeks but I am almost done sorting photos for CDs and will have them burned and shipped by end of week. If you don't see them in the mail by mid next week then you may yell at me via email, facebook or phone. If you've been waiting to buy a CD, this would be an excellent day to order one with a short turn around time as it'll likely ship with the rest of them. None the less, they are looking very good and I think you will all be very happy with the number and quality of the images. Thanks for your patience. - Joe
