  1. Here are a few shots from our CAC course this weekend. Two of them are stills from a video of me running the drill a student recorded. The rest are of some of the students.
  2. You guys have enough the the way it sounds already. I will block the the date off for you now and get with Jagr. I'm guessing you guys want to do one of our Counter Ambush concepts classes. I would say by the sounds of it everyone is up to speed on the safety and has their CHL. Here is the class outline as it appears on our website: Cost $100 I.C.E. Training’s Fundamentals of Concealed Carry is designed to educate students about the firearms best for concealed carry, how to carry them safely and securely, and how to use them efficiently in the context of a dynamic critical incident. This four to six hour course introduces new shooters to some of the core basics of the Combat Focus® Shooting program, as well as aspects of handgun ownership and other basic information geared towards the new handgun owner. We cover awareness, avoidance, de-escalation, gun safety, concealed carry as a system, gun, ammunition, and holster selection, drawing from a holster, reloading, multiple shooting drills designed to help you achieve a balance of speed and precision, distractions in the public environment, alternate force options, interacting with responding law enforcement, and aftermath. There are no prerequisites to taking this course but we recommend students have taken their Ohio concealed handgun course. Students will need to bring: Handgun Holster A minimum of 2 magazines Magazine carrier (optional, but recommended) 250 rounds of ammunition Eye protection Ear protection Water Food or snacks Sunscreen Hat Weather appropriate clothing Note taking material (optional) If you have anymore questions feel free to post them up and I'll answer them as they come in. You can also pm me on here or on Facebook or you can email us at valkyriedefensegroup@gmail.com and one of us will get back to you asap. If you need a voice response our phone number is on the website as well.
  3. No no, thank you. OK now who is in for the 18th?
  4. Madcat pick a date in November and we can start the ball rolling on getting one set up for you.
  5. If you are coming on the 18th I would appreciate it if you would check in as going on the Facebook event. I like to keep a decent head count. https://www.facebook.com/events/764769543580643/ Also we usually hit up sportszone or another local watering hole after this class and let our hair down a bit so plan on that as well.
  6. Speedy you need to get rid of some kids.
  7. That is fine. Just let me know in advance what you decide.
  8. Well it is up to you guys. The first weekend of November is open for us or the 18th of October. What ever works for everyone best. Just let us know.
  9. Sorry. I meant November. Our November dates are all open.
  10. We only require a minimum of 5 for this class. We also ask that you have your concealed handgun permi or at least taken a class yo get it. That way we know you have some form of safety knowledge and a base line skill.
  11. Our November is untouched so far. If you all wanted to do an all OR class we could plan it. The 18th will still be ago. Just a thought for you all to consider.
  12. We have had a huge influx in Canadian friends and likes on Facebook lately. I found out another podcast called slam fire radio mentioned the company and gave is a little air time last week as well. We are extremely fortunate.
  13. Thanks guys! We really appreciate the support. Apparently we are huge hits in Canada now... Like that matters haha.
  14. We are a firearms training company. http://main.valkyriedefensegroup.com/home.html We handle concealed handgun classes all the way up to advanced courses powered by the combat focused program. If you give the show a listen you can get a pretty good feel for us and what we do in the interview.
  15. Jason and I were featured as guests on the Armed Squirrels podcast. We answered some questions about the company and where we are planning on taking it. Plus we talked about what sets us apart from others out there. Enjoy! http://directory.libsyn.com/episode/index/id/3036521
  16. I'm making your thread relevant.
  17. We are trying to get one together in the next few weeks in Coshocton. All we want is at least 5 people to put on the Counter Ambush Concepts class. Obviously we would love more but 5 will at least get the class off the ground.
  18. My theory says yours hands will not be in that position.
  19. Here is a review written by a student from one of our Counter Ambush Concepts course. http://absolutebsblog.com/2014/08/19/dfc-new-vdg-classes-and-a-recent-after-action-report/ It is a blast of a class to teach. We had everyone from new shooters to folks carrying for years. Lots of eyes were opened throughout the day.
  20. Sounds good speedy. You have my number so just text me when you find out.
  21. We have a fundamentals of concealed carry scheduled in Coshocton on August 9th. If anyone in interested let me know.
  22. The pick a date comment goes for anyone as well. We will do any of our classes for as few as 6 people. If you are absolutely wanting to get one together but can't find six please don't hesitate to contact Jason or myself. We will definitely work with you and add to your group on the date you pick or combine you with another group to round out the class.
  23. We are pretty flexible. Get a group of guys or gals interested and pick a date. We can go from there.
