  1. Can someone confirm that there will be a tire machine there Sunday / Monday / Tuesday?
  2. Maybe something like this? 2017 Schedule: May: 7(T), 8, 14, 15, 16 June: 5, 6, 18(T), 19 July: 2(T),10, 11, 22(T), 23(T) August: 20(T), 21, 22, 23 September: 4, 5, 10(T), 11, 12 October: 1(T), 2, 9(A) (T) Twilight, (A) Apprec Day
  3. Did the little bird have any additional detail?
  4. You are correct, and the fact that you can take the memory card out of your GoPro and put it into the Android phone makes it much easier to get the video synced.
  5. I had really good luck with my Qstarz BT-Q1000. It was reliable, provided a lot of data and it only cost $200. The downside is that you have to hook it up to a laptop to see the data. Then I wanted to try to make cool videos like Ryan Hill. I had an old iPhone, so I purchased the XGPS160 and Harry Lap Timer App. It worked, but I didn’t like it as much as Ryan’s set up and then I remembered that my wife had an old Android phone. So I bought the Race Chrono app that Ryan was using and I love the set up. It makes syncing lap-time data with your GoPro pretty easy. The best feature is the predictive-lap-time display. During a lap I can take a quick look and see how my current lap compares to my best lap of the session. It’s nice to know when you have a good lap going so you can continue to push. It’s also great that this data transfers to the video so you can look back at the lap and see where you made-up / lost time. Having said all of that, I believe the AIM Solo has all the same capability and I’m sure would be a cleaner solution. For reference, the predictive-lap-time data is the green / red number in the upper right hand corner of the video. http://youtu.be/Hz5VljlB41A
  6. Thanks Ryan! You da man!!!
  7. Sorry to hear that Ryan! I'm assuming camping in the pits will be permitted Sunday night as usual?
  8. Will they be providing lunch on Wednesday as usual?
  9. Talk to me about Putnam and MTD. I rode Putnam once a year or two ago with Motoseries. It was pretty cold and the track seemed to be pretty slippery all day. Does Putnam need heat to come in like Mid-Ohio? How are the MTD days, I've never ridden with them?
  10. How was it? Did it stay dry?
  11. Does anyone know if they'll have tire service? I have tires just might need a mount/balance or two...
  12. Both days were pretty good for me. I wanted to make it down into the 1:40's on Monday and the 1:39's on Tuesday, which I was able to do. Was hoping to go quicker but my day ended 3 sessions early on Tuesday when I stripped a pinch bolt on my forks trying to get some fresh tires on. Still working on trying to remove that bolt...
  13. Sorry to hear that! I helped them unload your bike. I was pitted not far from you (Black GSXR 750 #25 - White Ford Van).
  14. Planning on getting there tonight getting set up and camping. What time do the gates close?
  15. I'm assuming Advanced isn't sold out and I can just sign up Monday morning?
