  1. x2...what color is yours? the flat black-ish color with the red flames looks straight up sexy on that bike.
  2. Hey everyone, I am at a (sort-of) standstill with my Sabre project...as I was attempting to remove the stock gauge cluster the other week, the 23 year old plastic just sorta crumbled apart... I tried eBay and a few used parts shops...no dice or retardedly expensive. What I want to know is, can I use a gauge cluster off of another Honda bike in its place? I can get a gauge cluster for a 500 Nighthawk for free, so I guess that's a start. Will any others work? I don't need the gear indicator, clock, gas gauge. Just speedo and tach I guess. (The reason I am asking is the Nighthawk gauge cluster is in Florida at a friend's house, no pics, otherwise I'd just sit down and figure it out myself.)
  3. I think it would be a good idea. I know I'm not the only one here who likes to put a crapload of miles on my bike. Maybe both in Ohio, and outside the state? Or is it here and I don't see it?
  4. 2 words: Maginot Line  Think about it this way: traffic tickets are not about the cops being lazy, and not wanting to go on drug busts and illegal immigrant raids. It's about raising money. I'm sorry, but if you modify your bike to be illegal, what do you expect? A pat on the back? Sure, sounds like that particular officer has a chip on his shoulder, I've found alot of them have Napoleon complexes. No offense to any officers out there, unless you are a police officer in either Doylestown or Wadsworth, Ohio. Then you can suck it Seriously though...cops are people. People have prejudices and inclinations towards certain things just like everyone else. As long as he is not overstepping his boundaries, there is nothing that can be done, period. Just don't ride like a jackass on the freeway, unless your penis is so small that you have to do that to get by.
  5. I76 heading west out of Akron, not only is it a bottleneck but it's like driving on a washboard... Rt. 619 between Arlington and 93 has the washboard feel, too. Some parts of 585 just north of Wooster now have washboard bumps from recent roadwork (all in curves, too)...I thought I'd gotten a flat when I rode over them the first time.
  6. Good question! Dave is the internet handle, Adam is the real name. Don't ask why, it's a long and convoluted tale that you probably won't want to hear. Thanks for all the welcomes. I added my location, forgot. About 15 minutes southwest of Akron, for those not in the know.

Hey everyone, my name's Adam and I just started riding. This looks like a cool site too, wish I had more time to explore it. Hello everyone!
