Yes of course I have a SBR tax stamp. And this isn't a pistol with an added stock. Shooting characteristics: we haven't shot any farther than 300 yds. with it. Up to that distance it shoots the same as a 16 inch barrel. This weapon is great as an entry gun at 22.5 inches long. Easy to manuever also. Got about 2500 rds thru it already. No issues
