  1. Right you are, TimTheAzn. And the FJR appears to be sold. Or at least, I've got a solid deposit and the buyer has booked a flight to come get it. Now...who wants a REALLY cheap Aerostich Roadcrafter 2-piece?
  2. For sale: My very used Aerostich Roadcrafter 2-piece. If this thing could talk, I'd have to burn it to prevent it from being used against me in a court of law. Someone once remarked that I'd single-handedly rendered useless the previous decade's worth of AMA public relations efforts in one afternoon's strafe of southeast Ohio's glorious roads, and I was wearing this very suit when it happened! You can't buy street cred like that! Wait...yes, you can. Because that's what I'm offering here. Never mind. Still waterproof after all these miles. A couple of the zipper pulls have been repaired in the traditional manner (split keyrings). The only bad is a melted spot when my left sleeve laid against a borrowed Suzuki Bandit's muffler when I shucked the jacket off on the Moki Dugway and rode in my tshirt cuz it was like a THOUSAND degrees. Apparently Suzuki doesn't believe in heat shields. The Cordura melted but the Goretex wasn't harmed, so it doesn't even leak there! It's just ugly, but then again, it's a Roadcrafter, so you won't be winning any beauty contests anyway. A new 2-piece is like a BILLION dollars. Okay, $1,334. Here's a chance to own one for....$200. You pay shipping or come get it. And honestly, this one's better than a new one...I've got a new one and I like this one better. First, they don't make this great color anymore, those idiots. This was their most popular color and some marketing genius decided to discontinue it. Morons. And they've made some changes to the way they fit (especially the neck) and the old one is better. Trust me. I'd keep it, but I already bought the new one and put miles on it and...screw it. After more than a hundred thousand miles, I figure it's time to give Riderwearhouse some more money. Jacket size: 46. Pants size: 40L
  3. All right, Killer, finger off the trigger. Let's get back to selling my sexy FJR!
  4. Oh, is that the way you're gonna be? The S2000 is augmented. 😏
  5. I sent you that PM, Ray. Not sure why I'm not seeing an external notifications of these replies. I'll have to check that...
  6. Hi, Chris. I'm aware of the MSTA. I was an HSTA member back in the day when it was all ST1100s and VFRs!
  7. Yet another 2013 FJR goes on the block. Nothing wrong with the bike at all, I'm just hankering for another Honda V4. Inlines don't do it for me, I'm afraid. I've tried love that torque curve but I just prefer something less peaky. This bike makes me want to break all the laws. Priced to sell. Beautiful condition. If you've been thinking of an FJR, this can be your moment. https://www.cycletrader.com/listing/2013-Yamaha-FJ1300-5006722642

    Intro

Hey, there. I joined primarily to sell a bike, but after thinking about it, figured it was about time I reached out to find some local riding partners. I've been riding since the mid-90's, primarily Honda V4's. My primary riding partners in crime have been the Sabre/Magna (SABMAG) internet group, but they've hit the point where they're not very active anymore. During most of that time I lived in Pittsburgh, enjoying the proximity to good riding roads down in WV/MD. The first decade of my riding career saw me averaging 12K-13K miles/year. Now that I'm back in Cleveland, it's been difficult to get up the motivation to do much riding, so I'm hoping getting involved with a local group can help. I've got way too many hobbies nowadays to go back to those mileage figures, but I'd certainly like to get out more than I am currently. I do all my own maintenance and have a nicely equipped garage with lift, tire machine, compressor, fridge full of beer, etc. I'm happy to help anyone who needs it. I've owned a 2013 FJR1300 for the past couple years, but we've never bonded. Last year I picked up a 2001 ST1100, since that was my last good experience, and I'm selling the FJR. I just can't love an inline. Hoping that getting back to a bike I once loved can rekindle my riding motivation!
