  1. I'm cyberlooting. Does that count?
  2. 'Rona floating through the air pissed-off people everywhere stay the hell away from town or the rioters will gun you down. Wear the mask, stay indoors don't get any take-out food wash yer hands, avoid the stores everyone, it seems, is rude. Trump is hiding, tweeting always while the world explodes times are strange, yet we keep going as humankind erodes.
  3. Jared, did you ever get her her own bike? If so, what did you buy?
  4. Whatever you do, don't wipe down leathers with Mother's Back to Black. Where is Sam when you need him?
  5. This thread just refuses to die.
  6. Mello, what specifically are you looking to do? Acquire/restomod a bike for personal use? Restore to resell?
  7. My buddy's wife just told me that the rules for weekly filing for unemployment have changed as of today. She recieved a note from the state of Ohio that she must now do at least two job searches per week and keep a log for the next three years in case she is audited. How 'bout them apples? Is this true?
  8. Look at you go, Bubs! You are a regular Carl Icahn, a-throwin' money hither and yon with abandon and rakin' it in. I'd like to be an arbitrageur, but I lack both the unlimited funds and brain power. What ever happened to all those day-traders, anyway? I remember a recently retired neighbor used to do it, but he lost his ass and his home. Another neighbor took all his retirement money and bought two Quiznos restaurants. No need to explain that this was an unholy disaster. He used to tell me the kids who made those shitty sammies made more money than he did--and I'm sure he wasn't lying. The restaurants, of course, are both gone--and I haven seen neither hide nor hair of the neighbor in the last ten years, so I would imaging he went where the rest of the direly unsuccessful dreamers go.
  9. Wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of that snorkel. You look toxic--and intoxicated. And a tad sweaty. Enjoy your draft. Glad you're in AZ and not here.
  10. It will be interesting to see how Harley Davidson fares, although covid likely doesn't play a very important role either way.
  11. You are likely younger than I am (64), but I think yours is a solid plan, Mr. (rich) Bastard. I am starting Social Security in six months, and my teaching pension the following year. Life is good, but unlike you, I now know I'm not gonna live forever.
  12. The fact that the Dow is only off by a couple thousand points from its peak and is still "hanging in there" leads me to believe that it will come back rapidly once there is some solidly positive news on the COVID front, specifically an effective vaccine. We decided to just stay put, and our financial guy has made few changes to both my and wife's portfolios. I'm kinda surprised that the markets are not hurting more than they are.
  13. This is cool, but encourages the squirrels instead of getting rid of them. The last thing I want to do is entertain them, and I doubt that they enjoy being impacted by 25mm rounds at close range.
  14. Time to oil up the Nerf gun. Losing pounds of suflower seeds daily. That shit ends now.
  15. Great wind therapy for you and your wife! Looking forward to the same once my bike is done.
  16. I would say unequivocally that the minor hassles you have gone through are worth this very nice location. If you don't already have them, get boats or kayaks--or both. Beautiful! Which direction are we looking at from this photo?
  17. The clippings look very green. What brand of fertilizer do you use?
  18. Looks to me like this resulted from too much *corona time* together. One of you should leave the house once in a while.
  19. Wow. Just wow. Rick, would you risk the lives of your kids and wife just because you're pissed about restrictions necessitated by COVID? If so, I'm okay with that, but I'm staying home for now. You are an educator, but you are also entitled to your opinion. It sucks, but this is reality--at least for now.

From what I have read, and from what my brother (a late-model Harley owner) has told me, the days of these retired-CEO type bikes are pretty much over. A baby boomer, I have never had the least desire to own one of these bloated, obese bikes. IMHO, they mimic their mostly elderly owners--slow, in need of frequent visits to the "doctor," and constantly shaking. Fuck that. He recently spent almost $1,500 having an oxygen sensor replaced at a dealership. Whaaaaat? The company's best and seemingly only hope of survival is to either evolve via ebikes or smaller petrol-based platforms, or die outright.
