  1. Cool bike. Love the idea of it but I bet the production version is very different. No carbon fiber, wider rear wheel and tire, pre load adj only, exhaust with cat, and $14-15k. Great engine though.
  2. It’s fun and looks great. At times I think the Monster 821 would have been a wiser choice for the same money though.
  3. Okay so I grew up right there in Tuppers Plains. Worked at the original Cool Spot while in high school and my first year of College. We moved to Columbus back in 2007; still miss all the good roads down there.
  4. Mineral Wells, I used to work down there near DuPont, about a decade ago. Where are you in the Belpre area?
  5. Nothing. I thought spring would be here by now. Praying for next weekend to get a hocking hills ride.
  6. Sorry I couldn’t get past the Bengals sticker...nice bike I think.
  7. Unbelievable, that sucks. Couldn’t help but imagine him looking like ghost rider though.
  8. Done nothing with my bike today but I did get a letter from Ducati last week recalling the front brake master cylinder...guess I need to schedule that before the weather breaks.
  9. Dumb question...is the chain gold or is it the lube?
  10. Welcome...the weather is almost here.
  11. Well if my boy didn’t have a basketball game this morning I’d come. I would like to meet ya’ll and the AMA HOF is only about a mile away from me. Its a cool place, but I haven’t been there in a year or so.
  12. Yeah maybe. I’d like the weight savings.
  13. Not since we lived in WV almost a decade ago.
  14. Sorry man I can’t even imagine...we’ll keep y’all in our prayers. That SuperDuke is a sweet bike. I was really close to getting a 990 a few years back but went with a speed triple instead. My little brother is learning to ride and purchased the little 390 Duke. I went with him to pick it up and was checking out the 1290 while I was there. It’s an impressive machine. KTM builds fantastic motorcycles IMO.
  15. I am really diggin these cool small displacement bikes.
  16. I can’t imagine it’s leans over too quickly. I do want to ride it one time though.
  17. Put the battery tender on it and pushed it out of the way so we can get my pickup and the wife’s suv both in the garage. Well this was Thursday night prior to the winter storm.
  18. I did, the base Thruxton is bit heavier and doesn’t offer the same level of suspension and tires. The Thruxton R was several thousand more than I wanted to spend. Seems the new Ducati Scrambler 1100 would be a ideal if it came with sportier tires, maybe a cafe racer 1100 in the future.
  19. Greetings Mark. Sorry to hear about your little girl, that has to be hard. Having three kids myself my New Years Eve was spent just like yours. I was born and raised in south east Ohio, near the river, and am very familiar with the lay land. Perhaps I will organize a ride down there this summer. Jeremy
