  1. Post again when you leave the west side. I might be able to get away long enough to meet you at Blendon Woods to say Hi.
  2. Here's what RaceTech says about your bike: .90 kg/mm or .95 kg/mm spring set is $129
  3. Every time I see this picture, it makes me smile.
  4. This is wrong on so many levels!
  5. Technically, the term "preload" only applies when the fork is topped out. At any other point, the spring force is balanced by the load (weight) on the spring. When you add a spacer to the top of the springs, it ALWAYS affects ride height by the amount of the length of the spacer. For a given load, the spring length will ALWAYS be the same. For a more aggressive feel, go with straight rate springs. Progressive rate springs are an easy way for manufacturers to make a bike that will "adequately" handle a broad range of riders but they are not "optimal" for anybody.
  6. New springs is the right answer but you can probably get your ride height back by adding a spacer on top of the spring.
  7. Sure hope it's a car, especially if he posts photos! Welcome BG!
  8. Thought that might be a "feature" for a Beemer.
  9. I was surprised to see FS1 showed MotoAmerica Superbike races for the last 2 weeks. They're showing some of the other classes on affiliated networks but I don't get any of those. Unfortunately, compared to MotoGP and WSBK, the MotoAmerica coverage seems amateurish. But at least they aren't interrupting the actual race for commercials.

    OH Rt 255

Glad I was behind so nobody can see how bad I was screwing up the left handers until I managed to shake the rust off. 😮
  11. Would it be a cheap shot to say we all three had lunches without forks? 😉
  12. I haven't got any of my video transferred yet but I'm pretty sure I got you dodging buzzards. 😎 Or were they turkeys? You had a much better view.
  13. Just got back from letting B-Mac tow me all over SE OH. He showed me more than 250 miles of great roads while I tried to keep the back of his Kaw in sight. This was my first ride with anybody from OR, and if the other guys are half as friendly as Brian, I'm looking forward to more. Thanks for a fun day, B.
  14. Don't miss the tube under the airport runway - Sawyer road IIRC. My exhaust growls, shrieks, crackles and pops. Always fun in a tunnel. I'll keep an eye out for details.
  15. I'll be there. Bring me a KK!
  16. This is tomorrow, right? Thurs the 6th.
  17. My map is sending me to Logan to get to Corning from Cols. Do you want to meet me somewhere near Logan or just make one meet spot? If I don't hear anything different, I'll be at John's at 10.
  18. I'm in for this! I'm an early riser so 10AM is no problem. It'll give me time to lube chain, air up the tires, and top off the oil. I'm looking forward to meeting OR guys and riding some different roads.
