  1. Well i placed my order this morning right at 8am... and got 2 at the $112 and they already sent me the certificates. Now its saying they 146
  2. thanks for the update.... how do these work? is there so many? do they sell out in the AM or something? Or can just purchase some in the morning when i wake up? Thanks Dustin
  3. I had a 250L dual sport... and thought it was just a little shy on power. Really had to ride it hard to get it up on the highway. Wish they would have just jumped the engine size to 300cc with the rest of the family.
  4. I really didn't lime this one either.... And I love Google and the new phones, but this add was just not good at all.
  5. I was really hoping to get an idea of what weekends will be for motorcycles so I could schedule my teaching appropriately. I'm thinking sometime in July or June. Yes of course I plan on picking up some.of this certificates
  6. What can we expect next years track days to be? I am scheduling work (Motorcycle Ohio classes) and would like to work in one weekend when its nice and hot.next summer but I'm not familiar enough to know about when I can expect the track to be open to bikes. TIA.
  7. Oh my, what did I sign up for? I'm ready for this, and ready for the life change. But it sounds like alot. I'm currently an MSF couch and teach about 10-12 classes a year for motorcycle Ohio. I was really hoping to go to my first teach day next year. Ugh.
  8. We picked up a brand new Ninja 650 ABS this year. Same engine, and overall very similar. I love the thing. Very torque down low, and the power comes on hard. I also really like the idea of a Ninja 1000, but searsouly the 650 is the perfect designed engine for Over-The-Road travel on a bike. You will love the "neutral finder" that Kawasaki says nothing about anywhere in there literature. Very smooth running engine also. As far as the Ninja 650 goes, its the most comfortable bike i have ever been on. Perfect riding position for long travel. Most people overlook this bike and jump on the new Honda 500 line. But the little extra money gets you very nice upgrades, worthy of the money.
  9. Things are going well still!!! We have officially announced it to everyone now. As for my wife riding. She has been so sick with morning sickness she couldn't get on a bike if she wanted to. She also swelled up very quickly and does not fit into her gear (right now). How do you new father figures make time to go for rides with out young kids around? We each have our own bikes and im trying to think of crafty ways so that i can get my wife away from the new baby for a bike ride every once in awhile.
  10. PRICE DROP $1500 I have a Suzuki bandit for sale or trade. I picked this up last fall as a project ( typically try to get one project a year) and this one turned out beautiful. So beautiful i have put most of my miles on this bike! New parts include new complete clutch (EBC), rebuilt carbs, fixed some oil leaks brakes serviced. Other miscellaneous things im forgetting. Bike runs perfect, has 31K miles on it. Aftermarket Corbin seat. I am getting roughly 45mpg from it. Sounds amazing with the Two Brothers Full Exhaust system. Its got that sport bike sound that makes any crappy day, go away. This bike is For sale OR ill trade it off. Im interested in other projects. Such as another bike that needs work. Vintage Honda stuff, Off road quads and what not. Message me and let me know what you got. I also have cash to boot, for the right deal. And ill take cash in, on a trade. I'm really flexible here. I can deliver if needed. . You would be very hard pressed to find a great running bike, that looks this good for less than 2k.
  11. Thank you for the kind words all!!! Was just wondering what the overall thought was on this one.
  12. Let's just say.... For instance, your wife is an motorcycle rider, with a brand new ninja 650, now let's just say she is all of a sudden pregnet with your first child, like 1-2 months..... Would you let here ride? Maybe short rides? Again all hypothetical here.
  13. I to am fed up with USPS. Amazon bailed these guys out (remember when they were going to stop Saturday delivery's?). Every time i am in the post office dealing with people behind the counter, they act as if they are a public service (and I need THEM). They are not, they are a business just like UPS, and Fedex. I wish one of them would buy them out.
  14. I just purchased a 2002 F4i for 3600. They are selling for anywhere between 3k to 4k. Its a Honda and expect it to last longer than a typical sport bike of its age... I lurked around on the CBR forum for some time now. There are several owners with 100k+ on there bikes. And one owner with an F4i with over 300k+, with video footage to prove it. If your hell bent on gwtin a new bike, that's all great, but that Honda you have still has a lot of life in it, unless its been abused.
  15. Welcome, an.thank you for taking the course, I hope you have gotten in. I am a BRC coach. If you have any questions regarding it, feel free to bug me.
  16. The SV= no title, The EX650 = tore up plastics, the other 2 are considerably older. Point taken and yes if you showed up at my house, and threw these adds at me and pointed out some flaws on the bandit, I would most serenely work with you on price. How many miles are on it? Thanks for the responses guys!
  17. Sorry, I just have to rant a little. I have been trying to sell off my Old Suzuki bandit for some time now. And i get TONS of people that think its only worth $1000-1200, a few at $1500. I get so sick of this crap. People wont even bother to come look at the bike, they just shoot me a Txt with a $1200 ovffer out of the blue and nothing else. One guy had the nerve to tell me that there is no way its ever work "what im asking" I have the bike listed at $2300 OBO. I like to buy a beat down, broken bike, in the dead of winter, then save it, work on, in the spring and then flip it in the spring/summer. I do it more for the learning experiance, and the excuse to buy the proper tools. This bike turned out beautiful, and I wouldn't even care if I broke even on it. I just get aggravated by these looser. I typical response to someone that says its only worth $1200, is to show me a great running 600cc sportbike, with ZERO issues, thats ready to ride, and looks this nice for less than $2K Sorry,
