  1. Light on the bars is best for the roads I ride. Let go of that death grip.
  2. It's got proper bars on it for the roads I ride. Enjoy!
  3. If the vehicle is registered in your name, LE has been informed you have cc before they exit their vehicle.
  4. I've been on Pilot Roads for the last decade. According to their test, the cycle mags say there's even better tires out there and the PR4's don't rate as well as some of the others tested. From what I've read one area they did rate high in was the wet. I got caught in the rain a few weeks ago while scrubbing them in and they seemed to be just as good. 51° lean angles, sticky and if they do break loose they hook right back up, special silicas for riding in the rain, computer aided tread design, dual compounds, etc. It feels good down there!
  5. Just for fun. So there's this guy I grew up with that got back into riding a few years ago. He had one of those shadow thingys, gear, full helmet, said he was "going to ease back into riding". Rode with him on a few rides with friends, didn't ride like shit except once I had to tell him not to ever pass me on the right again. Fast forward, he's now on the bar and shield brand, says it "better suits my personality", he's lost all the gear apparently due to his level of proficiency. So he calls me up and wants to go riding and I said ok, where you want to ride to? He says "let's ride around town" then I asked why would I want to ride around town and he said "so people can see us" I'm gonna pass. A few weeks later I see him from my cage on one of the main roads in town and he's got this Elvis snarl thing going on that made me laugh. A few weeks after that I see him and asked him if he was mad about something? You looked like angry rider, riding is supposed to be fun. He fidgeted. Is this a poser? Poseur?
  6. Several hundred miles later I have my new PR4's scrubbed in. Whoa! These are the best tires I've ever had! Tires just keep getting better. I pity da fools not able to take advantage of the latest tire technologies.
  7. I've seen the rusted chains. I'll start off with dood, you could probably put 20 more horsepower to the ground with some oil on that chain. Then I'll try to explain what can happen and hope that gets the gears in their minds working.
  8. Some of us have combined riding a shooting and it's a blast!!! You absolutely can shoot from a moving motorcycle. As most of you know it's all about proper sight alignment. The opposit of wing shooting where you lead the bird, shooting while moving demands you aim behind the target. Obviously the slower the speed the more accurate you can be. Not that it's not difficult but it's easier to shoot from a rolling bike vs a horse. I've never shot from a horse but I was told you fire at the top of the gallop. Btw I've taken up all the slack in my throttle advance (choke) so as I can manipulate it like a cruise control with my left hand. Some of you will scoff so I offer this disclaimer. I never said this is a good idea. This isn't for the uncoordinated. This isn't some gang shit. This is for country people on a private lane.
  9. MSRP $829.00 Discount for riders ??? $$$
  10. Sweet! Now some pics of it in the air, crossed up.

Here's another misfit, another Jimmy Dean Bet be's got a motorbike, What'a y'all think? Bet if we good we'll get a ride on it If be ain't too mad about the future Matbe we oughta help him see The future ain't what it used to be Hey Spike, you're scarin' my wife Hey Spike what do you like Please Spike, tell us 'bout life
  12. I heard a couple arguing last week. He said "doesn't matter what I say it's what you wanna do"
  13. Hey Spike, whatta you like?
  14. It's not as bad here as it is in some other states,,,,,,,yet. Stunting laws in Florida can get your bike confiscated and sold for a power wheelie. No hands, don't even think about it. Cupid Stunts. That icon of American motorcycling hotrodding, the wheelie, has been outlawed.
  15. Once the fad wears off some of these guys and gals will stick around and become motorcyclist. Not sure where the hate comes from. Not everybody can start on a dirt bike.

    OR Logo?

The bike in the middle, it's a cruiser with lower fairings only? Never seen that on the road before.

  18. Hamburg is as close as I've been. Not to be confused with Berlin Ohio. Fuerstain schnitzel brain? Auf peterstain!
  19. What two industries is that? I'll pass the word. The beauty of the progressive tax system is the rich go right on being rich.

  21. Gotta agree with Redkow about the strength of the field, or it's at least debatable. The AMA did seem like more of a farm team league back then. We now have Wayne Rainey working to "reinvigorate" road racing in America, so there's hope. Let's face it though, America loves dirt bikes more. If the manufacturer's think electronic systems (aids?) are the way to go faster then that's a big part of what I want to see, even if it means one guy way out front. You're still watching the best rider on the best machine. Miladin is a good example, back then a lot of people were saying "Suzuki is ruining everything" I said isn't Suzuki supposed to build and campaign the best machine they can come up with? Aren't they supposed to come up with the best rider they can find? Kudos to Suzuki. You knew it wouldn't last.
  22. http://www.motoamerica.com/superstock-1000-champion-jake-gagne-pegged-for-superbike-stardom It's fun to watch a racer move up through AMA and on to the world stage. Hoping he has some luck this year and gives us American fans some hope. Still pissed about losing mid-Ohio from the schedule, those bastards.
  23. OK then there Jeff, this is for you; Everybody here knows about the massive egos prevalent in motorcycling, well in hunting you can multiply that. After all, what could be more manly than killin sumpin.
  24. What are you trying to say Jeff, you need some mud for your turtle?

    New Shoes

So I bought these new shoes yesterday morning uptown off a drug dealer, probably stolen. I don't know who laced them up but I was tripping all day.
