  1. That’s crazy. I often expect it on 250, but I’ve never encountered much on 7.
  2. Where are the pictures of this car? I like cars too.
  3. You said money was of no concern. What’s the hold up on this?
  4. I actually use the trailer’s jack to raise my trailer in the front to lower the ramp on my open trailer.
  5. Leonard truck and trailer should have what you need. https://www.leonardtrailers.com/
  6. This is what I found for the GL1800. Crazy stuff to me, but it explains why I always feel the need to use both brakes when 2 up. Thanks @Pauly for the edumacation.
  7. Do you know if this is true for all Goldwings?
  8. A lot of work just to replace a stupid valve stem, but it’s done. I screwed up the Shorty valve stem that I bought at the motorcycle shop yesterday. So I just installed a normal 1-1/4” stem. Sorry to disappoint you boys. On a positive note, this thing is still a riot to ride. Pre-ride self talk was ”hey take it easy, you haven’t been on this bike in a while”. Pull out of the driveway, the bike starts making fun of me. “You’re afraid to do a wheelie?” Yes, she talks to me and makes fun of me at times. Of course I showed her who was boss 😜. The only problem with the ride was it was way too short. Just a quick run uptown to grab an in-line fuse for the 12 V power supply on the wing and a trip to the post office. I need a Southeast Ohio run like none other. I’m not sure how I feel about my wife always wanting to ride with me nowadays. I miss out on some of those free Saturdays I used to have.
  9. I just grabbed a short rubber stem from the local motorcycle shop. I’ve never had too much trouble on the CBR getting to it. Thank the Lord however for 90 degree stems on the Wing.
  10. Not the tire. The valve stem. I don’t replace them every time I change a tire. I picked up a new stem tonight. Now I just need to find the time to replace it. Guess I didn’t describe the issue very well.
  11. Went to air up the front tire on the CBR for the maiden voyage of this year. That things pretty well dry rotted. It started leaking air like a sieve. I guess it’s best that happened here in my garage and not on the road. Still a bummer though.
  12. New wing is in the future hopefully. Spending my money on a 28x40 outbuilding this summer. I’ve never had the CBR hit 🤷‍♂️.
  13. My passenger really slows me down. My wife gives me quite the nudge when she feels we’re going too fast. Since I want her to continue to ride I back off and just laugh.
  14. Shoot I’m frustrated I can’t go faster with the wing on the street. I used to wonder if I’d be better off with a slower bike. I now know I prefer a bike that is above what I’m willing to push it to. Dragging pegs was scary on the Concours. When the Wing touches down and unweights the rearend that is beyond scary.
  15. Installed a new vented windshield on the goldwing.
  16. Since the weather sucked this week for spring break, I decided to clean up the Trans Am. polished fender vs non polished door both polished this is why we use the weatherstripping to close the door kids it cleaned up decent though finished product
  17. Be careful with that number 57 limestone. I threw that down last year for some base for a garage I plan to build in the future. When I park on it now after it rains, it makes a mess. Has a tendency to stick to car tires and shoes. It’s the small tiny pieces of it that stick. On the other hand, I have multiple drives I built out of crushed asphalt and it’s awesome. It’s solid as a rock and it has almost melted together as paved asphalt. It’s not the prettiest stuff but it’s really functional.
  18. It didn’t seem top heavy just flinging it around standing over it. The Kawasaki Concours, that was top heavy. At speed that Kaw could chew up some asphalt though. Man I miss that bike.
