  1. Jake at The Dyno Shop or @Hoblick would be my go to. Jake is in Powell and Ryan Hoblick is in Marysville.
  2. I have a slipper and I still rev match.
  3. Oh man! It was good to meet you, real sorry to hear about the injury. No need to beat the "reason for the crash" horse to death. Heal up soon and we'll see you out there again.
  4. I fit a 300 on my Daytona. Cant turn for shit, but it sure looks good at bike night.
  5. Speaking of the evos, I used them for the first time yesterday and loved them. Initially had the front a couple lbs too high on pressure, but otherwise felt great. I'm looking forward to seeing how they do after a few more days.
  6. It's been flashed, tuned, pipe and filter. Makes ~185 at the wheel.
  7. Perfect day. Met @TMC Customs, I think we have a new OMRL rider. We'll see if he shows for the next round at G&J on July 27/28th. Its free to preregister... Aside from just beautiful weather and hanging with some friends being not at work, I made it into the 1:45s today. That's ~2 seconds faster than where I was last year. I can see dropping another couple next time out. Waiting on @DerekClouser's data acquisition and analytics to see where I'm the biggest weenie. Only one oh-shit moment coming into turn 1 a little hot, took a humble ride in the grass, through the sand pit, through the grass again, and square into a haybale where the bike stood upright until the end of the session. Perfect day.
  8. No big sign, we are next to the wolf pup hauler behind garage 15. Come say hey.
  9. Great, Derek is running I to start, but should be A with the rest of us before the end of the day.
  10. Won't be needing a garage, but myself and a few buddies from here @what, @DerekClouser, and @kbrok will be there hopefully sporting our mini race team flag, if it's still in Derek's toy hauler. Mach Zero Racing, high viz green. Stop on over and say hey. I'll be on my Triumph, Andy's CBR 1K, Kevin on the RSV4 and Derek on his GSXR.
  11. Gas sooner, brake later. I didn't want to shove Shorty out or run over the guy in front. Kind of a tough spot and once I did get on it, I just didn't have enough juice to keep ahead.
  12. Our buddy Kevin took this video on Sunday. I just couldn't get around our other buddy Shorty in front of me. Great battle all race long. Last lap starts around 9:55. One of my favorite races I've been in, wish I came out on top, but there's always next time. Huge fun.
  13. Correct, Tuesday. Because I'm an idiot and cant read a calendar. I'm back in town the 8th, Tuesday the 9th is my mid Ohio day.
  14. I'll be out of town, hoping for MidO on Monday.
  15. Huh, why? Where did you see the research for this? Could see helmets creating some different whistling effects through vents and gaps etc, but worse than no helmet?
  16. I'm there for both days. Going to be great, the track is amazing.
  17. How does the endurance race work? Same bike for all riders on the team? Required min time per rider?
  18. Damn man, that sucks. Glad you're going to be ok and everything else is fixable.
  19. I put new Q3+ on the Ducati and left the weights on from the last change from RS10s. Nothing noticeably negative. I did this specifically to try out @durk's method. I don't have a speedometer on her at the moment, but Tonik said we hit 90mph at least once on the Gap trip and she felt as solid as ever. Considering a top speed of maybe 120, that's good enough for me to not worry about it when I take her on the track next.
  20. So Jim's Wing is amazing. Its light years ahead of the whale. So stable in the corners and clearly enough power. It looks great and pretty darn sleek considering it has three hards cases the passenger seat has arm rests. Nice bike man, ride the hell out of it.
  21. I had a great time. Rode a bunch on the Grom and took the Ducati for a coiple great rides. Good hang with everyone in the evenings. Looking forward to the next one!
