  1. We got 2 sessions in, and ALMOST a third, but it started sprinkling again.
  2. Nice photos -- you did catch one of me Of the more notable bikes I noticed in the photos *the guy on the CBX *a lot of the two guys on the Gen1 and Gen2 copper SVs *the guy on the old school Multistrada, and *the #26 blue and orange KTM.
  3. Yes, the prices went up. Yes, I still bought my gift certs. Yes, the track needs work. Yes, its seemingly not plausible to stomach an increase in prices after all the COVID cancellations and the 2 wheel orgs fleeing the track. Yet, I would be sad if it wasn't around to ride so I still support it, but it will get harder and harder in the future until many give up.

    Hey Tpoppa

That's probably the best bet. @Jester_'s onboard pretty much shows what a fast guy is. I'm not a fast guy, I just know what it takes to be one. 🙂

    Hey Tpoppa

Neutral throttle the keyhole* The carousel, T1, and the busstop too, if you blow the entries by over-slowing. And the transition onto the front stretch** Anywhere else at MO, I won't say "you're doing it wrong", but you're doing it slow. *if you're scared of leaning on the Q3s over the pockmarked pavement on the exit. **if you're scared, or have stock rearsets that you've bent by trying to lean too far there. TL;DR, basically no neutral throttle anywhere if you want to go fast.
  6. I doubt I'll make Monday anymore, but I think I'm going for a walk-in tomorrow. How did they run Friday? I,A,N in 20min sessions as usual, or something different?
  7. I've got plenty of video of the back of that Ducati...
  8. That... that's a legitimate complaint. Hopefully you were AGATT so the fall off the toilet didn't give you rash.
  9. Why no MidOh love? It's close, the pavement is decent, it's got history, facilities are adequate, half the track to stretch the legs of your bike, and the other technical half to get your lean on. I don't have too many complaints
  10. I'll make one if not both days.... 7/9 + 7/10. Assuming there's walk-up spots.
  11. I made a bad call It's shaping up to be a wonderful day for you guys...
  12. I've reluctantly decided to call it off, as I usually head down the night before. If I happen to wake up at 5AM and the weather takes a miraculous turn for the better, I'll drive down, but I'm pessimistic.
  13. True. Accuweather hasn't changed, but Weather.com has increased to 55% @ 2PM and 80% after that *I am not a meteorologist, but am willing to be just as wrong as one.
  14. Well, it's not getting better... I'm in agony over here.
  15. Forecastadvisor gives Accuweather the best % of being correct. Accuweather shows 50% chance at noon and decreasing from there. Should dry out quick if it's just a brief shower. I'm still leaning on going, if only to shake out the new bike for the first time. I don't foresee hitting it as hard anyway... well until the red mist comes, but you can't really forecast that.
  16. Thanks for the status update. I'll call again Friday to confirm, but I'm planning to walk-up on Monday. First day of the year, first time out on the new bike.
  17. You don't realize how scary I group is until you get a shot at A group, but maybe being scared is half the fun for the really twisted riders?
  18. Also had a liter bike as a first bike, also glad it's gone, but a late 1980s liter bike isn't the same as what they're cranking out now.
  19. 2017 was full of trackdays, drag racing, and demo rides (Yamaha and Polaris). Hoping for a new track bike for 2018, reduced lap times, and some more drag racing. I'm a simple guy.
