  1. Very nice bike Killer, Well done. Now start putting a few coins away for the Gold Wing in let say 3 to 5 Y.
  2. Took a lunch ride to Boondocks BBQ&Grill in McConnelsville with the wife. Hit 668,669,555,78. Great day and enjoyed the easy pace that allowed me to take note of natural beauty that surrounds this area. Looking deep in the wood line and seeing all the creeks and rock formations that I miss during the summer or at my normal pace. 155 miles total, no Issues.
  3. south central Ohio. 143 miles of calm gravel and chip with a little asphalt, Hocking,Perry, Morgan Counties. Lower Vol. Music https://youtu.be/vjFVXBFjPf0
  4. Another nice day of riding in south central Ohio. 143 miles on back road Adv stuff.
  5. Enjoyed a nice 160 mile ride through the Hocking Hills area with a lunch stop in Laurelville diner with two friends on a Honda AT and a BMW GS. Roads were in great shape and no traffic.
  6. I thought we had it bad. This is the O.R. epic ride in the far east Watch the last part in the dirt. https://www.liveleak.com/view?i=e8b_1510732613
  7. And that is exactly what Dorna has designed the series to be since 1992, The Spanish championship series. Also can't be the GOAT without concurring the two stroke 500 monsters. Just a old guy's opinion.
  8. My Kat M/C ride is CXL-ed due to weather & Temps. So I needed a project to keep me in the garage while my wife's friend is visiting for 4 day's. Tomorrow will be warm enough for a range day, Bang.
  9. Bikes are standing by ready to ride when this short term cold snap breaks. It's now time to do annual maintenance on the John Deer Z-Turn. Edit: More of a 4 year tear down Heavy maintenance.
  10. Tony may not show it but he has a hidden good side. It's a survival type ride, abuse not advised. Next year it is then.
  11. Weather permitting, I could be up for this.
  12. Me to, I hope the weather cooperates. You could rent your bike to Jim (Jshaft).
  13. KAT-500 or 3 Day 1/2KAT. Due to a few relationship good deeds I have acquired few kitchen passes that I must use. I was thinking about the TOT Lap but I just can't give up a opportunity to again ride The east side of the KAT in the late fall. This gives me a window of 5-6 day's (16NOV-20NOV) to ride down and do the Big Bike 3 Day KAT500.This starts in Williamson, WVa. Counter clockwise to Jackson, KY. drops south to Harlen, KY. returns up to Williamson/Home. Anyone interested let me know if not fine. This section is doable alone.
  14. Without question, moderately priced and make it to fit me and my uses. I had 20 to spend in 2014 and fitted two bikes and gear.
  15. Had a great ride with two riders. Did a mix of roads and some of WNF trails too. Got in a little deep on Peacock road down off SR50 that started out fine but went away after awhile. we were able to ride out thru a farm field to the street. No Music just raw clip.
  16. Yesterday riding, this morning cleaning.
  17. ADV RIDE, This Friday 27 Oct. Departure 10:30-11:00 South Central Ohio. 174 Miles of back roads. I will be eating a heavy brunch around 10:15 at the start point, Bremen Cafe, 10:15, 98 W Main St, Bremen, OH 43107 This is a 2014 route I created for a Wayne event and the gravel should be in good shape with the rain we have had. Weather Forecast: Sunny, with a high near 68. South wind 5 to 10 mph.
  18. Pulled fork tube assembly to investigate a static seep of fluid. Cleaned seal with motion pro seal mate and will now check overnight.
  19. Made it home, Great ride. Thanks.
  20. Just got back early. 3 days two nights with the Mrs. Earned a few man points. Might be able to make this fall season ride. I assumed you will be blowing thru New Concord on 83.
  21. Have you gentlemen ever looked into Ironhorse Lodge? http://ironhorsenc.com/accommodations/cabin-rooms-bunkhouse/
  22. Can't make it. Will be over riding in ky.
  23. They can be a Hoot, We had a great 4 man group all with a warp sense of humor. so it makes it fun no attitudes( even with a BMW GS Rider) and a willingness to help out if needed. The route that was laid out was the only disappointment. But it was in Indiana. I have found that (My Opinion) The Dual Sport Club's, "Made up of Woods Riders" that think that Big Adventure Bikes have no place other that a occasional graded gravel road. They do want the $$$$$$ from a growing segment of the motorcycle world that ride the big expensive ADV bikes. They are now including a Adventure route with there weekend dual sports events. Some events have challenge section for advance riders but some just have some gravel and mostly country asphalt. It's really hit and miss. Southern Ohio has great Adventure stuff for everyone. March Moto Madness in Tellico Plains, TN. is the Benchmark event on this side of the USA.
  24. Trip Completed, No issues, It was OK, 750miles total. Adv Route was a soft country ride in Indiana, nothing like what we have here in Ohio so I won't be going back. Only one short muddy section into the woods and back out. the rest was mostly asphalt. Before/After Photos with some mixed in.
  25. 1090 is the shit. It is so refined. It feels like 300 lb. Bike. They have them in Wauseon, ohio at championship power sports. They have huskys too. Good luck. No cops today, i was not leading and the ktm 1090 Guy just picked the bike up thursday so he was getting use to it.
