  1. How crowded was Novice vs. Intermediate? Seems like a decent idea to do some sighting laps and get some tips. I have a half a track day on my Q2's. Sounds like I should be OK?
  2. Thanks for the info. I am really looking forward to the March trip!! Did you take any video?
  3. Can't you get a volume discount? Or maybe a Groupon?
  4. Does anyone know if the Groupon is transferable? If I buy it, and then for some reason can't make it, can someone else use it?
  5. Happy New Year! Can't wait for Jennings!
  6. Seriously, though, it may depend on what type of paint is on it. Enamel, lacquer, etc. some cleaners may be too harsh?
  7. Paint it black and don't worry about it.
  8. Mid Ohio is a great track, but as noted, mostly weekdays. This site usually has good info, but looks like they don't have 2014 up yet http://www.trackdayriders.com/?action=schedules Distance and overall cost can vary. But it's a blast!
  9. Greetings. Should be some nice riding around there!
  10. Registered and paid for Sat, Sun and Mon. I will need to get a spot in a trailer or truck for the bike. My trailer option may fall through. I can still drive my small SUV and haul people and gear.
  11. I'm in for sure. Will be signing up today or tomorrow at the latest.
  12. iPads suck for doing posts on forums. I can't figure out how to put a picture in from mine
  13. I will be doing two days. Suggestions on which two days would be better - 8th & 9th or 9th & 10th? Thanks.
  14. Go to trackdayriders.com. They list a lot of the track days and also tracks by distance from your location. You could do Mid Ohio, Nelsons Ledges or BeaveRun. They are all a blast!
  15. Awesome. Had you ever weighed it in street bodywork to see the difference?
  16. It scares me that you can "just weigh" something that weighs nearly 400lbs. Just sayin'
  17. I am interested. May depend on date. Have access to a trailer that can take two bikes, if anyone needs a spot.
  18. Jeff, you are commenting, but didn't say if you're coming. You in???
  19. I'm in for Saturday. Had to call Todd directly to register. No excuses. Lets get that last track ride in!
  20. I have done track days with three organizations so far. Moto Series was my first, so that sort of set the standard. I have done NESBA which was a good fit after doing 3-4 with Moto. Their format was a little less formal, but safety is still number one. I also did one at Mid Ohio with their PTR program. Also different but very fun. Amazing track and facility. I think the hardest thing is to assess your ability relative to the rest of the group you are in. If too slow or too fast, no fun. Either way, all of people in each org were awesome. Knowledgeable and fun to ride with. IMHO.
