😒Way to bring unneeded politics into a conversation.  I guess I should throw out my Russian guns because of their terrible politics, my German guns because Nazi's, my British guns because of the colonial atrocities they have committed over the past thousand + years.  Chinese guns, nope.  You better throw away that USA made hi-point because of our own human rights violations for the past 245 years.  If you can't separate the quality of a product made by a corporation from the politics of the country it's located in I don't know what to tell ya.

@serpentracer,  You'll have to let us know how it shoots.  I haven't had a chance to see one in person yet but at that price it's an interesting find.  Good luck with it and a big thumbs up on the deal you got.

Aww did your vag get hurt?

1999.  that's the year my house was built.  20 years ago.  and fedex still insists they should change my zip code from 45001 to 45002.  and my packages don't get delivered until I call them and ask where it is.

every time it's the same thing.  I have to "verify" my address from the shipper was input correctly etc.   it's never Fedex's fault.  it's either I don't know my own street address and zip code or I gave it to the shipper with the incorrect zip code.  oh look, nope.  everyone else did their job.  Fedex is a bunch of fuck ups.

Nothing is ever my fault. I can’t take ownership in my life to call them and let them know it’s not correct.

trailer prices are crazy right now. I just sold my old ass 4x8 with crappy 8" tires for $500 this morning that wasn't nearly as nice or capable as this one. I had 3 people lined up that wanted it and the guy ended up giving me an extra $50 over asking to hold it for a day until he could get here

I built the decking for mine during the height of the lumbar price hike. I'm thinking about re-doing it just on principal.

not to bad. Nearly died in a car accident with the kids in December but we're all ok now. Busy with work as always. How about you?

Nice day for a ride from Lake Erie down to Mohawk Dam.  Hit some of my favorite roads in the area and explored some of the gravel roads off of 715.  And finally, rode the gravel road that accesses the base of the dam.  Only 225 miles, but hey, I’m retired.  I can go again tomorrow.  😎

You said gravel roads. Be interested in something a little more than gravel? I’m usually in that area every other weekend and I’ve got a pretty sweet route.

When you ain't selling much, there is no where to go but up. Honda sells more bikes in a month than the three of them put together sell in a year.

Because they don’t have to sell that many. To keep up with their business model.

I’m not arguing Honda doesn’t sell bikes, at least in the rest of the world but I have a hard time believing they sell that many units of street bikes. Now throw in SxSs and the CRF line it becomes more believable.

Interesting. The second largest seller of motorcycles in the US who has had a 29 percent sales growth over the last ten years doesn't know what they are doing.

They could always be pulling a Wells Fargo. 🤣🤣🤣

    Who is number one?

New, 2014 CTX700s and CTX1300s were still in showrooms last year.  The NC700x, NT700V, VFR1200, CB1100, CB1000R were all overpriced swings and misses.  CBRs always rank near the bottom in HP.  All those bikes are fine to ride, but compared to compared to the competition, they are more expensive and lack features that buyers want.

The new GW is their best, most innovative offering in years, but 2018s are still sitting in showrooms.

I always use this story to help people comprehend because you are spot on.

I worked at a Dodge and BMW dealer through the Great Recession.

Dodge came in and yanked their franchise.
The owner never could figure out why and told everyone it was because he didn’t want to convert to CDJR branding.

We all know the real reason. What average middle class soccer mom is going to drive 45k Durango when there’s an X5 right next to it for just a little bit more, or even less due to BMWs fantastic lease programs.

Honda is the king of 5 year old motorcycles aging on the show room floor.

That either they or their dealers never budge on price.

    it’s sad really.

I 100% get that the American motorcycle market is shit compared to the rest of the world but just stop already.  Sell the Gold Wing, Africa Twin, CRF line, grom  and a couple SxS’s

no CBRs, no cruisers don’t even bother with middle weight naked sport bikes. So many better options.

I test road my dads crf250l and that crap is more softly sprung than my Vulcan. My KLX might be a 15+ year old bike that hasnt changed other than FI but at least I don’t feel like I’m going to flip over the front handle bars from fork dive when I touch the brake.
