  1. It is American. It has great sound and sporty setup and ride. It will be pricey, but I am in for a look. I think it looks American without looking or behaving like a Harley.
  2. It has to be the crassest thing in the world to quote yourself, but since everyone else is doing it, then I guess it is OK... to wit "Many in the media define the Diavel's marketing position by claiming it's Ducati's version of a Yamaha VMax or Harley Davidson V-rod, fitting it into the muscle-cruiser sub-catagory, whatever that is. But maybe it should be thought of more as competing with the Moto Guzzi Griso 1200 8V.... But if you step outside of today's narrow niche rules and expectations of what a bike has to be and remember that Moto Guzzi used to win road races... then maybe the Diavel is just a motorcycle.." Cycle World magazine May 2011.

  4. Chicks riding bikes at a track day is a form of transgenderism. (is that a word?) They're just doing it to get the feeling of all that power between their legs as a substitute for a penis.
  5. I do all my riding with women and there is nothing sexist about it.
  6. Getting stranded on the side of the road because you unknowingly tripped the kill switch.
  7. If so, you can bet it was in their right ear.
  8. So its a topless gay car! Fahrvergnugan - und du vill like it!

Head for the hills. Arkansas is too far for a week. In July do Eastern Upstate NY. Hit the hills and do the finger lakes. Great riding.
  10. I fight all my tickets. I have beat tickets in Boston Heights, (infamous) and many others. You beat most of them before you go to court by seeking discovery, issuing supeanas and excercising your other rights, but I have also gotten suspended fines and other negotiated deals with prosecutors. It is a little extra work, but can be fun too.
  11. The snow belt is still just that. Adventure bike or not, I don't like riding in snow.
  12. Only the earh is flat people live up there. Too boring...unless you ride a Ural in which case the excitement is will I make it home?
  13. The last lady who sat on mine said she loved the feeling of all that power between her legs. You are welcome to try it too.
  14. Welcome to the group. First bikes are like first women, you never quite forget 'em. Mine was bucket a bolts but as a mechanical hack it was good practice. I mean the bike of course, not the woman.
