  2. I can recall a few times people either trying to chase me or someone I'm riding with down after a pass, hell I even had a logging semi fully loaded down pull that shit on a ride with gasser this summer. 90mph on straights, veering into the oncoming lane around blind corners (the truck, not me). Nice to know there are fucknuts like Crum in every state.
  3. Do I need 2 Street Triple Rs... Hmmmm ;p
  4. I'll do my best to make it out.
  5. There are a few roads down near Xenia that do this. 35mph speed limit sign right at the edge of town and then nothing for miles... except for yellow suggested corner speed signs posted higher than the speed limit sign. I always figured in this case the speed limit went up to the unmarked road limit? Maybe not? Seems like there are multiple unmarked road limits depending on how laden the swallow is at any given point in time. "Fifty miles per hour on state routes within municipal corporations outside urban districts unless a lower prima-facie speed is established as further provided in this section;" and "sixty miles per hour on two-lane state routes outside municipal corporations as established by the director under division (H)(2) of this section."
  6. the second i saw the bike i turned it up to make sure it didn't sound like a harley. i bet they got a bunch of complaints.
  7. The images are both helping me keep my sanity while working 90+ hour weeks and making me want to say fuck it all, quit my job and head down there.

    Winter Storage

I'm looking for storage for 1, maybe 2 bikes for the winter in the Columbus area. If anyone has room let me know. Willing to chip in to help with electric bill/space rental/whatever. Thanks!
  9. We've fit 15 or so at barley's smokehouse before (work/watch co-workers get wasted so you can blackmail in future function). Matt the Millers is a little more laid back, they have a good beer selection (but then again so does smokehouse). Not sure on Miller's seating as I've only been there once. Hofbrau is generally a madhouse and it's long-table seating (giant picnic tables). Rowdy with polka music and lederhosen. I have no preference but as DAC said, if you're wanting conversation Hofbrau might make that a bit difficult.
  10. There's a few good places, depends what you're looking for. Here's 3 http://hofbrauhauscolumbus.com/ http://mtmtavern.com/ http://smokehousebrewing.com/
  11. Nov 14. I can probably make that happen. Still thinking columbus?

Sorry if I jinxed you :| and wtf Pauly, when they say "drag elbow" they mean on the road, not the side of an oncoming vehicle.
  13. Would, except I had a last-minute trip to Orlando.
  14. Good lord, I'll bet there are skydivers with failed parachutes that sustained fewer serious injuries. Glad you're home. Hard to relax and heal in a hospital.
  15. I wouldn't worry too much, I was one of the faster ones in the novice group I was in and that's saying something. Nice get Bowdog. I mean, seriously. I saw one of Bobby Fong's 2014 backup bikes up on WERA earlier this summer for like $30k, didn't expect to see another sexy Daytona up for sale so soon.
  16. Figure out where the hell I'm going to store the bikes for the winter. Work on assembling trailer for track-bike usage (add wood bedding, tool box, wheel chock, etc). Fix electric on trailer that was destroyed by a certain relative that I let borrow it. Hook the SV up to tender. Put cover on it. Work on selling it in spring. Hook Triumph up to tender, order new stator cover and install. Look at it because it's pretty and orange. Shed a single tear because we'll be apart for so long. May be out and about a little bit before I store though, depends on weather late this month. Wouldn't mind one last ride but I'm not thrilled about the prospect of coming around a blind corner to find 1,000,000 leaves blown into the road by Joe Countryside Jr.
  17. Uninstall the battery and unplug fuel lines while coasting to a stop holding in clutch in first gear straight into a wheel chock to secure the front end without having to risk damaging my frame by using the kickstand. Every time I need to slow down or stop.
  18. Mercedes and BMW also on the list.
  19. I'll just blame the triumph failure rate on hipsters and their bonnevilles.
  20. New battery it is. If things persist I will do as Bubba and vf1000 suggest. Thanks
  21. He's exactly what the Catholic church needed, someone that wasn't indoctrinated into the politics of Vatican City, is progressive and as far as I can tell follows pretty closely to the teachings of Christ. Granted, I'm not exactly a Christian but Christian philosophy so far as the new testament goes isn't a bad thing.
