  1. have to see what the wife has on my honey do list. But I could be up for a ride in SWOhio.
  2. one, on 68 south of Kenton north of Bel. Just wish I was not at work so I could go for it....
  3. First welcome to the board, I know where you are abouts. I ride into and around Franklin and Lebanon area alot. Gen3flygirl, to asnwer your question - if you pass it everyday sitting in the same place, good chance no one rides it, just a driveway icon. Kind of like the older guys with their $30K HD's in the garage. I could be wrong.

    Lunch Run

Another update: Where the dot is on the bend about 100 feet on the northbound side there is a pile of rocks about the length of a car right in the middle of the northbound lane (car tracks have cleared the sides but the middle is stacked about 4 inches high). Luckily I was going slow as I have not been on the road before, where if I was moving any faster I would have been sitting in some ones hillside. I will say this wasn't to much fun getting to this route. but for the 9 minutes on the road it was a blast, and a very very well spent lunch time. sidenote: ricky racer might want to try to go fast but speed limit is okay for me (45-50 in most of the area, some 35MPH). Beautiful tree covered road and great little farms along the way. One looked like they had a nice crop of grapes for wine going....

    Lunch Run

Referring to the city and the landscape around it yes it does. A buddy I rode with over the weekend has a great saying "have to ride and hour to to ride and hour". Which works out right. We rode down to south east Ohio about an hour away to ride around for an hour or so and then headed back. So yes as for our landscape around here it does suck. As for me - as a person - I do not suck, I am the coolest person in my world.

Added to it today. Really nice out, a little hot when I got a phone call I had to pull over to answer. Sitting there it started getting warm, but moving it was great. Around the pond it was a bit on the gravellly side and I did end up on a dirt drive at one point. ran over my lunch time but it's friday and I don't think anyone cares.

    Back in Ohio

Welcome. I too am a transplant from Indy. Thou I grew up here in Dayton, I moved here from Indianpolis about 4 years ago now. Again welcome.
  9. What no pictures? I liked playing the Joe's Cycle Shop game last year. But so busy with work and just going and getting lost have not had much motivation to play again. But your ride sounds like fun. Great report.

    Best wings

I live in Dayton, but we go to Columbus a lot as we (wife and I) lived over there for a while and still have friends. One place we go every and I mean every time we go over there is Local Roots in Powell : http://localrootspowell.com/ The wings are good, better then BW3's or Hooters and most any other chain place. They also have a crab dip I will absolutely commit crimes to get my hands on.

used to post up on Britrider but fell out there, have a few of the same games you guys play here. Good group of guys. I work off Franklin near the High School. I work for Dayton Wire Wheel. If you listen to Rap music in the 90's you should know who I work for.
  12. I have been over to Daddy katz a few times on Thrusdays, and my boss has a shop down in Moraine that we tend to hang around some nights. Easy to spot me in my lid for sure: Ah the name: sorry at work, just a little slow lol.

    Lunch Run

Again I work in Centerville so this is my sunny day run for lunch. Don't get any food while I am out but norally can get someone here to pick me up something while they are out so this allows me to get a nice hour ride in the middle of the day. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=E+Franklin+St&daddr=Clyo+Rd+to:Township+Line+Rd+to:Franklin+Rd%2FOld+Rt+73+Rd+to:Old+Stage+Rd+to:US-42+N+to:39.628168,-84.139309+to:N+Main+St&geocode=FX-uXAIdwdf7-g%3BFbBzXAIdtDb8-g%3BFYZsWwIdyCz8-g%3BFShNWwIdQt_8-g%3BFUr9WwIdkKT9-g%3BFUpIXAId2BD--g%3B%3BFSSvXAIdONb7-g&hl=en&mra=dpe&mrcr=0&mrsp=6&sz=13&via=1,2,3,4,5,6&sll=39.611639,-84.115448&sspn=0.099052,0.152264&ie=UTF8&ll=39.608862,-84.141197&spn=0.198111,0.304527&z=12
