  1. aw man, i think i saw one of these at my local pull-a-part junkyard last week, i can't remember if it was wingless though but it was red but i'm in cleveland
  2. you have a 27" iphone? .... step your game up http://www.myinsulators.com/commokid/telephones/ta838.jpg
  3. Man I've been cool, car still on the road only 71k on it now, im just trying to get this truck stuff together so i can make a decent living. And The truck i checked out today was a BUST!!! Sooooo much rust on the underside, i was debating at first but I'm thinking if I put it on jack stands they'll probably go through, rust was THAT bad. He was gonna take $1300 but that thing would've been a road hazard even though it felt good.
  4. I don't mind the work but a and I like them but diesel wouldn't work for me, I don't haul enough stuff and my commute is too short unfortunately, some stuff popped up on CL that i'll check out today a 99 f150 w197k for $1700, not sure if its worth the risk but it could be a steal
  5. yeah see I need the larger cab for gear and occasional extra occupant. It's crazy on craigslist because people don't respond to texts when they say text at # or they dont call back when they say call #
  6. i've seen some but the sellers have been scamstars or don't follow up when I ask about them
  7. So my s10 was stolen earlier this year (never recovered )and I finally saved a little money. Problem is I can't seem to find a replacement. I'm looking for something >$3.5k, Manual transmission, extended/crew/king/etc. cab, and a v6 preferred. So another s10 or 4.0 ranger would be best but i'll take f150's or hardbodies. anyone have anything?
  8. or pay to borrow someone's truck, rentals are expensive, they charge crazy prices for miles and such its a pain, i had to rent a few times before i bought my sanford&son s10
  9. .....you forgot to put a burnout in the video
  10. well some good news, i fixed the handle bar, it wasn't tight, i'm guessing if it was it would have either stayed put or bent the fork tubes, but the gas tank dent still sucks as a reminder.
  11. this should be a great memorial build, maybe you guys could auction the bike after it's built or something and give it to his family.
  12. Anyone know of any places around the Cleveland area, even akron I guess wouldn't be too far, that does bike bodywork? I had pics in another thread about the bad day. I read about attackpaint but he's too far south :'(. Just need to know so I can get a quote and find out my options, I can get a primed upper for $100 but then it'd still need paint but I'm wondering if my current one can just be saved.
  13. Not only did my seat fly off yesterday, when I went out again to look for it one last time, I hit a raised sewer grate in mid turn, got some target fixation as a car was coming around the turn towards me and locked the brakes before I was straight. Went down hard but had on all gear so just left with a bruise on my knee and my foot. I think I was going maybe 10-15mph Boots took most of it when the bike fell on me, i never wear tennis shoes and saw a wear mark on the ankle and a small hole in the side of the boot. But the bike took some damage, the tank is dented from the handlebar pushing it in, and now my bars aren't straight so I'm not sure how to remedy it, do I have to loosen the triple or something and turn it against a curb or something? I remember reading some crude ways to fix bends but I'm not 100% sure. I just got my frame sliders last week and hadn't put them on ...right signal vanished but I had extras, and my upper fairing is scratched and cracked. It's not too bad but it was low speed. I'm just glad all my gear worked. And this was in front of a playground so I got a chance to tell the kids that ran to me why helmets and stuff are important.
  14. My rear seat came off while I was riding and I need to replace it while I save for another corbin. for a 03' sv1000
