  1. Yeah, I mowed yesterday and wondered why I thought it was a good idea to mow that day. I probably sound ancient,, but wow, that's some miles on a sportbike. Of course, I have a bad back. So, I am done after 150 - 200 miles. Good thing I don't have to travel far to get to the good twisties in Southern Ohio. What exhaust you have? It kinda looks like my KR Tuned slip-on.
  2. Forgot to mention with it being freshly repaved in the spring it is buttery smoothed...just all the better.
  3. Good find RR. I have a hard copy somewhere that I picked up a few years ago. Thanks for sharing the digital copy. If you ever in my neck of the woods, let me know. I have some outstanding twisties down here. Everyone raves about the triple nickel, but I can tell you St Rte 41 south of Greenfield is every bit as good if not better and rivals Tail of the Dragon.. IMHO It's good to live in Southern Ohio with high performance two wheelers. Take care and stay safe.
  4. Bummer...wish we were closer. I have some outstanding twisties in my backyard here in Southern Ohio. St Rte 41, St Rte 73, St Rte 247, St Rte 125 to name a few. If you ever head this way let me know. Take care and stay safe.
  5. That's is crazy!!! I was interesting in this particular GunVault model because of the unique mounting capabilities, but not now. Thanks for steering me clear. I'll stick to my Hornady Rapid Safes. :-)
  6. Welcome Sport bike (Scuba) Steve from Hillsboro. Head my way sometime and I'll show you some nice twisties. OhioBob
  7. Hi, Chris. Welcome. You know I am bias towards Honda's. (Since I myself have a Blue Beast 2006 Honda CBR1000RR.) LOL Glad to see you made it here. I sent you a pm with my personal contact info if it is easier for meeting up. Look forward to riding with Mike and you. Take care. OhioBob
  8. Welcome to the forum. Glad to see you found it. Yes, I look forward to doing some riding with you too. Can't wait to see that Duc in action. Next couple of days are supposed to amazing...especially for November. I will be riding the Blue Beast (CBR1000RR) after work tomorrow, if you are game.
  9. I agree, whatever product fits "you" better is the one for that individual. However, what makes you say that the Bell is nicer than the Scorpion? Thanks.
  10. Tonik, Thanks for your reply. If I was up in the air between the new Bell Star (street) helmet and the Scorpion EXO-R2000 helmet, which would you lean towards? What if the R2000 helmet was discounted by half (under $200)? Thanks again.
  11. Hi, I am looking, well wasn't, but now am looking for a new lid to replace my aging Bell Star (Snell2005). It has been a great lid, but has probably been a little bigger than should be on me. I wear a Large for most helmets. Anyways, I stumbled on to some truly or seemingly great deals of Scorpion riding gear. So, has anyone had/tried the Scorpion EXO-R2000 full face helmet? If so, how did/do you like it over the long haul? How has it stood the test of time? Have you had other lids? If so, how does the R2000 compare to those? Ride Hard or what's the point? OhioBob
  12. Very true statement. I have met several over just the last year and none of them had ever heard of OhioRiders.net. So, sad. All we can do is keep spreading the word. Ride Hard or what's the point. OhioBob
  13. Nobody? Come on someone knows the guy (or gal). I am looking for local riding buddies. I am usually a lone wolf, because I can ride my pace and not worry about others falling behind or wrecking trying to keep up, etc., but other times I wish I had a group/crew to enjoy these great twisty roads in Southern Ohio with.
  14. Correction: SP2 leather pants & SJ2 leather jacket
